  1. Thanks for the report, @BrianK! I think I have a theory about what happened, adding this to the list of things to investigate. Unfortunately, I have to apologize in advance for a delay with a possible resolution of this, as I am completely swamped with work this month (the one unrelated to games), but I am hoping to find some time to address all of the accumulated issues & bug reports early August. Thank you for your patience & understanding!
  2. No problem, I've refunded your 300 TP back. The value of each resource is relative to each player! There are players who don't engage in a lot of land merges (e.g. they just focus on the number of individual flags) and travel points for them are exclusively "expert settler fuel". That is especially applicable to new players and those who don't travel far and have not accumulated a great amount of TP (so the capture cost is low).
  3. Your base can only have one wall (with the exception of the metal fence inherited from the upgraded land) and one guard tower, one missile launcher plus one nuclear silo at a time (I believe they should be listed in the "Build / Upgrade" window in "My Lands"). However, once any of your non-base lands reach level 100 or above you will be able to place additional walls and turrets anywhere on that land's territory (the bigger the land, the more structures can fit). I hope that helps!
  4. Hi! That would be because that base is the only one that has a concrete wall and a metal fence: I suspect that you've built a metal fence on that land before it was a base and then later converted the land into a base? It is the only way to have both types of walls protect your land (normally a base only allows to build the concrete wall).

    in battle...

Sorry, I meant perks that affect FoT (poor choice of words from my end 🙂). But yes, I plan for the FoT to have perks and characters one day too!
  6. Will have a think about it! 😉 You are right though, this will require a brand new alliance-like UI. Noted, will also have a think about what could be done here! Thank you for the feedback, guys!
  7. This won't be a problem for new players, as until their base reaches level 10 there are no combat interactions possible with other players anyway. But by the time level 10 is achieved after a few weeks of gameplay most players are usually familiar with the available settings, map filters and Discord already, which reduces the chance of confusion. Showing all flags of a particular enemy at a specific time in a non-optional manner is not a good solution, as one of the key problems we are facing is the overpopulation of certain areas with flags by a single player. There is at least one in Brisbane (I will avoid pointing fingers ) and there is a number of such veterans in the US. Playing next to them is really, really hard as the number of flags accumulated by these guys in the last few years is capable of single-handedly overloading and crashing specific devices. Accordingly, I would like for the choice to see "everything" to remain an option controlled by the players (depending on their device's capabilities). If one of their old guard towers happens to attack you it will pop up on the map (and will be very easy to spot on its own as opposed to the current situation, where individual structures can be very hard to find in the "forest of flags"). And if there is a large number of such flags appearing in a short period of time I doubt that it will cause much confusion after all; at best the opponent will try disabling the visibility filter (to find out that the attacker is, in fact, a well-established veteran with an abundance of flags), at worst they will raise a complaint in here or Discord with their suspicions and we'll be happy to address these enquiries outlining all possibilities. 🙂 I think having this discussion happen once in a while is going to be much better than losing players due to the inflexible slowdowns of Earth View caused by thousands of flags forced in their face. But as always, I will continue to observe the situation, of course, and if a more elegant solution presents itself I will not hesitate to adopt it. 😉

    land loss

See the following announcement for answers! There is a new profile setting for land visibility. If you'd like to see all of your lands, set it to "Disabled" (in Russian version it is "Отключено"). Otherwise only the lands you interacted with within the specified time interval will appear to avoid clutter.
  9. Hi all, Update 2.7.9 is now available for download from the App Store and Play Store, as well as being deployed automatically to the existing devices via the in-app updater facility. The following changes were made in this version: Earth View: "Enemy Lands" filter has been removed and replaced with 2 new filters: "Lands of AI (Terror)" and "Other Players". The new "Other Players" filter is disabled for all players by default and needs to be switched on manually. My Profile: you will find a new land visibility setting at the bottom of the profile settings window, allowing to hide lands that haven't been interacted with for more than a day, week or month. Disabling this setting shows all lands from the beginning of time. The default value set for all accounts is "Month". Please note that this setting applies to both yours and other player lands, i.e. selecting "Day" will hide all lands captured and interacted with by your allies and enemies before today. However, the land visibility setting does not apply to the Force of Terror lands, which are always visible unless the "Lands of AI (Terror)" Earth View map filter is disabled. "Interactions" that count towards refreshing a land's activity are: Land upgrades. Building upgrades and repairs. Army invasion into that land by an enemy. Remote strike by any offensive structure from that land. Trade offers. Construction of utility structures and regular buildings. Army recruitment (for bases). As always, please post if you have any questions or feedback!

    rarity versus

You can't control luck, I'm afraid! All items are generated using the same logic, but the potential modifier range is looked up from a quality-to-value table. That value is greater for the higher quality items, but as I said, there is always a chance that you've gotten the best possible common item and are unlucky enough to find some of the worst rare/epic items. 🤷‍♂️ Additionally, rare+ items have a chance to provide multiple skill bonuses (if I remember correctly, epic items may provide up to 3 skill bonuses at the same time), but it would seem that in your case that hasn't happened at all!
  11. Сугубо философский. 🙂 Я выпустил исправление, в будущем бонус на винтовки больше не должен появляться на пистолетах. Теперь в вашем владении находится уникальный предмет. 😅 Благодарю за репорт!

    rarity versus

Yep, must be really warm. 🙂 All attributes are still random: Quality does not guarantee a better outcome of a dice roll, but simply provides a greater potential. It's like buying a $1 scratch card with the maximum prize of $100 and one for $20 with a jackpot of $1,000,000. You can still win $50 in the first one and $5 in the second. 😅

    rarity versus

Sorry, I don't think I understand the question here. 😅 Could you please elaborate?

    battle never ends...

Is this still happening? I can't see any active combats in your area...
  16. TL;DR Support for Android OS versions below 6 will cease unless we find players who are still using such devices (so if you are, please speak up!). Longer summary: In light of recent audits by Google and the need to keep our app up to date (which includes integrating new software libraries from Google) I have been reviewing the OS versions of Android devices playing "Domination: Earth". Out of several hundred devices that ran Android < 6 I can see only 60 remaining who haven't upgraded their phone to a newer OS since starting to play. Narrowing things down, all activity from such devices predates the release of 2.7 and I believe we no longer have anyone using Android 4.x or 5.x, which is why we are considering to stop supporting these Android versions and impose a hard version requirement to install the game from the Play Store. Why is this needed: Older devices relying on Android <= 6 are slow and filled with unique technical challenges that need individual attention, but that do not affect (or exist on) the newer Android variants. As more features are added to the game, the app keeps getting bigger (and is also filled with more content, incl. Earth View icons) and will eventually become unresponsive / unusable on such devices. Accordingly, letting new Android users install the game on older devices is detrimental to our reputation and first impression about the game. Android <= 6 has its own "unique" (wildly out-of-date) version of Webview, the rendering engine used to display our game. That Webview is technically incompatible with a lot of our visual elements and DE cannot run on it, which is why to show them at all I have had to maintain our own internal implementation of Webview (a fork of Cordova Crosswalk, which has been abandoned by its original authors years ago) and continue developing a piece of otherwise unmaintained software. This also means that for every new version of DE I have to release the app for 1 additional platform: iOS, Android >= 7 and a separate standalone app for Android <= 6. It is very time-consuming and is a maintenance nightmare to have a separate codebase for older Android devices. Because of that we intend to stop supporting all Android versions below 6 and, eventually, version 6 as well (which is currently being used by one of our active players. Yes, we value each one of you! ). Accordingly, if anyone is still secretly using older Android devices (4.x, 5.x), please let me know, as otherwise you will not be able to download any more updates once the new requirements are introduced.

    please help

Not a problem, but could you please provide some information about the character I am looking for?

    fot inactivity

As mentioned in the original thread a while back: All AI behaviour is completely randomized every 24 hours, which means that some days they may be hyperactive, on other days - not do anything at all. This isn't controlled or influenced by me in any way, so I cannot comment on when they're going to do what!
  19. Can you please try switching the following profile setting off ("Cache land data on device") and tell me if the problem persists? In any case, I apologize for the inconvenience, investigation into this matter will continue!
  20. Hmm, does this happen on all of your lands or just a specific one? Can I also ask what Android OS version you're using (or a device model)?
  21. Hi all, Version 2.7.7 should get deployed via the in-app updater to all devices and will appear on the Play Store & App Store in the near future. Featuring: Facility to sort inventory, warehouse and character items by level and rarity, with the ability to switch primary & secondary sort keys. Items of equal level and rarity will be automatically sorted by their equipment slot. Character skill progress bars now show two separate values: current skill level and modifier total (incl. attribute and item bonuses). Issue causing the duplicate characters and items being picked up should now be resolved. This should also prevent building upgrades from exceeding the maximum level. Camera will now resume following your position after a pick up or land capture (with a delay of a couple of seconds). Corrected message appearing when a Tracking Satellite is unable to collect resources due to exceeding the storage capacity. Permission issues / lack of local storage space on device should no longer cause "My Lands" to freeze (the "infinite loading" problem). Deleting character items via the warehouse is now fixed and should no longer withdraw the selected item. Corrected sabotage text appearing in combat log to prevent confusion. Please post if you have any questions or feedback.

    troops lost

I released a fix today to a partially-related problem and I cannot reproduce the loss of troops anymore. Could you please confirm if it's still happening, @kank? If yes, does it happen every time you mobilize soldiers or sometimes it does work correctly? Finally, just to avoid misunderstandings: after mobilizing X soldiers, does this number not appear in the list of defenders ("Защитники" - "Солдат"), or it does appear straight away, but gets reset upon the round's end?

    in battle...

Yep, looks like Marie secretly works for the enemy. 😅 I'll launch an internal investigation into her career history and allegiances. On a serious note though, I believe that text needs adjusting; when the defending character uses their sabotage skill it simply disables all defences of the attacking army (e.g. the FoT's perk bonuses). But it shouldn't affect your defensive structures, such as walls. I'll include a fix in the next release.

    max army

I am assuming we're talking about the total army leaderboard? It shows the highest number of soldiers that existed across all of player's bases at any point in time. E.g. if someone builds 500,000 troops on base 1 and 500,000 troops on base 2, their leaderboard will show the value of 1,000,000. After the player loses them all the leaderboard is still going to show 1,000,000 and to beat that highscore they'd need to build at least 1,000,001 more soldiers. I hope that helps!
