  1. Ah, so it is a base! Yes, bases only grow and collect resources when they level up (the "level progress" meter reaches its maximum), so in this case you would have to walk closer to the resource (approximately 200 steps or so towards the parachute icon ) and then use "Hand". I'll also mention this to our team and we'll see if the base resource collection can be adjusted in the next version to make things user-friendlier and to avoid confusion in the future.
  2. It's hard to fix when it works as expected for all of us here! I honestly have no idea how you're doing it, but I will run some more tests this week.
  3. Well, that is inevitable in any city! We did our best to help with the privacy by making your bases invisible (as most of them are likely to be near peoples' homes), but we can't prevent players from checking in around each other houses: when that happens the owner of that house will most likely not be the owner of the land (I know for a fact that I have a level 10 land in my friend's house and I'm keeping it - it's a great discussion subject whenever we meet ). Considering that in some active towns there's someone else's land for almost every address, allowing to delete your own lands won't really help much (the best solution in that case would be simply not to play ). However, I will review the possibility of land move for those worried about the aesthetics. No promises yet, but I'll see if we can make this a fun gameplay element in any way.
  4. Most definitely, yes. As I mentioned in the other threads, there will be an announcement in the "News" section when it begins (should be any day now)!

    Shield

Please define "shield"! Would that be a shield for the base or your army? We are planning to introduce combat items eventually that will have various effects during army battles. As for the base shield, there's already a variety of walls that absorb damage from invasions and explosions. Is there something we missed that you'd like to have added?
  6. The reason why both lands have to be level 100 in order to merge is because there are certain building requirements to advance past a specific level threshold: e.g. you need to build something to reach level 11, then you need another building for a level 20+ and so on. If we allow lands to merge earlier then this aspect becomes imbalanced: it's really hard to advance to level 91 because of all the upgrade costs, but it's much easier to build only a couple of things and reach level 30 (or better yet, create lots of free level 10 lands and have them merge - why bother building stuff at all?). Accordingly, if the low-level land merge becomes possible the game's focus will shift towards creating more low-level lands around the only level 100 you've created, instead of growing all of them at the same time and spending resources on upgrades. Please let me know if that doesn't make sense.
  7. Hi Tom! And welcome, we're happy to have you on board! The usual pointers from me would be to build an "Assembly Plant" ASAP (your life will never be the same once you try it ) and if you travel much - don't forget to establish as many bases as you can (I personally find that it's much easier to play with multiple bases around!). But don't forget to invest in an army as well, as there will be someone eventually who wants to take over things you've captured.
  8. Ruvox and maximus43 are correct! To sum everything up the following scenarios are possible: A resource appeared on your land, but you are physically located elsewhere (i.e. outside of its circle). You can either travel into that land's circle and use "Capture" (round flag button) anywhere on its territory (the land will upgrade to the next level, grow a little bit and collect every resource located there) or move closer to the resource itself and use "Pick up" (round button with a hand) to directly interact with a nearby resource. Alternatively, you can build a Tracking Satellite and collect resources remotely, as mentioned by Ruvox. If the resource did appear on a land where you're standing and "Capture" button still doesn't pick it up, perhaps the resource is located slightly outside of the land's border? I'd zoom in really close to verify its exact position. If that is the case, then upgrading the land a few times will eventually reach and collect the resource. However, if this land is a base you will need to capture more lands outside of it for that land to grow (sometimes it's easier to just approach the resource directly and pick it up manually using the "hand" button ). Once you acquire some resources the first building I'd recommend constructing is the "Assembly Plant" - it allows producing tools that extend your resource collection radius and make life a lot easier! I hope that helps, but if not - perhaps you could upload a screenshot showing the problematic resource, so that we could better understand your scenario?
  9. If you are referring to moving your base to a different location, this has actually been added already since the last request. Open "My Lands", swipe your base name to the right and tap "Move" - this will instantly relocate your base to your current position. I hope that helps!
  10. I know what you mean regarding item swapping in the warehouse; I don't know how we'd implement the swap when both inventories are full yet (UI-wise), but we'll have a think. As for lands, I believe it shouldn't matter which land you're actually standing on, as the construction-related targeting is based purely on the distance from a land's centre (i.e. nearest center is selected, regardless of the land size). So if in your case when standing on a blue dot you can't select "land two" for construction, then you must be too far (500m+) from its center. However, we are currently reviewing an alternative option of land selection for construction, so it's possible that this situation will change in the future! I'll keep you posted!
  11. These appear for 7 days every time your base gets a new level or when someone else establishes a new base in the area. Additionally, there is always a 5% chance to find a new source when you capture new lands, so the more you play the more sources will appear around you.
  12. Thank you, glad I could help! All buildings share the same UI functionality, so it's hard to make exceptions just for those requiring Unobtainium, but I'll add this to our list of things to review!
  13. Hmm... looks like the satellite lost its link with the base to which it belongs! Can you please post or PM me the details about your new base where you've built that satellite (i.e. its name and/or approximate location)?
  14. Hi! No problem, I've deleted that Missile Launcher for you and restored your resources spent building it. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with!

    Default defence

Heya! If your army is capable of defending your base while it's also attacking another land that's a bug. I will look into that and release a fix. As for land defence question: your base is generally much more protected than any of your lands. Not only it has concrete walls, but its defence can also be boosted by checking in within its radius. Let's imagine that I have 100 soldiers and want to destroy your base, which also has 100 soldiers defending it. Knowing that my 100 soldiers will unlikely survive the attack it would be some good tactics to lure your army out by attacking a nearby land with no defence, slaying them, then proceeding to attack your base. Accordingly, we thought it is only fair to provide you with control to such scenarios. However, you are right: many people don't notice that option, so I've switched it on by default.
  16. Hi! Judging by the screenshot with the weird toast it looks like you've had no internet connection when the game was launched, so the app didn't receive any translation texts from the cloud. When that happens the easiest solution is to re-open the game after you get connected again. But I'm planning to look into some offline fallback options as well. But your actual message says "Resources are ready for collection" (from My Lands tab) As for diversifying messages in general - makes sense, will see what can be done!
  17. Completely agree! This isn't in the game yet, but land statistics are almost at the top of our task list, so this will be added in one of the upcoming releases.
  18. Defences still have to be destroyed and the land's level dropped to 1 before the takeover can happen (and your army can still defend all of your lands, even if you aren't nearby); the key difference is that before the land would be simply gone and now you actually have a chance to get it back. I.e. in the old version a nuclear blast would wipe all of your lands out and you'd have to physically travel to every single of those spots again to re-capture lost lands (which we thought isn't much fun!). In the new version not only you get to keep all your collected lands no matter the blast size, you can also re-capture any of the lands that got taken over by using your army.
  19. Thread pinned. Good luck with the server and thanks for your initiative!
  20. Yes and no! As we keep mentioning around the forum, Domination's goal is to send players travelling and exploring real world, so the more remote automation we add (i.e. things you can do from home) the less possible that becomes. However, we are trying to come up with more ways to make the game user-friendlier (without sabotaging the actual need to go outside) and the subject of automated collection has come up multiple times in the past. We'll probably build something relevant to that area in the future!
  21. Awesome! Thank you, @TobsterTheToaster!
  22. That's correct! In general, you can't really capture lands within lands of other players: if you're allies with that person you'll see an error message straight away (suggesting to purchase or invade that land instead), and whenever enemies capture lands within each other's territory it is considered to be an invasion. Repeat captures of either of those lands will cause damage to the opposite one, and as soon as one of them drops to level 1 you can capture it using your army. However, we're constantly working on new features in that area, so it's quite possible that there will be additional functionality helping to control other players within your lands. Everything else makes sense and as I posted somewhere above, personal land statistics are in our task list!
  23. Ok, please ignore any previous discussions related to land area; source of confusion has been found and eliminated. Indeed, we've had the correct value displayed in the game all this time, but it was in a different unit. The issue should now be resolved.
  24. Ok, I see where the confusion is coming from! I apologize, I was under the impression that you're getting a different value in meters, hence the discussion. I see it now; the problem is indeed in conversion from square meters to square kilometers, which in my case lacked 3 zeros! That's my bad, sorry! So to reiterate: we have the correct value of the land area in the app, but the new server-side formula was indeed sending value in a wrong unit; this has been fixed just now.
  25. When you say "50, 100, 150m" - that's from the big land's outer border, right? Not from its center? If you are measuring distance from its center then you'd need to be 500m+ away. I'm sure that's what you're doing, I'm saying it just in case to avoid any misunderstandings. As promised, I will run some tests myself though!
