  1. All of your lands are protected by troops stationed on your primary base, as long as you've enabled the "Defend surrounding lands" option. When you're attacked, stationed army will automatically travel to each land that is being targeted by enemy and fight there. "Transfer army" is only needed if you have more than one base and your stationed troops cannot reach lands linked to the other bases. That is when you need to explicitly send your army to the base abroad in order to protect it and its lands.
  2. Hmm... I will investigate, hold on! But if you stumble upon any other bugs I'd be grateful if you could post about them in the "Technical Support" forum to keep things nice and organized (please don't put everything in the news announcement thread). That's correct! If you have expanded all of your lands to level 100 and there isn't a single uncaptured piece of land in your city left then I must say I am impressed. However, our rules still remain! Domination is all about capturing Earth by real-world exploration, not capturing Earth by going to the same routine places over and over again; there's only so much you can do from home and your office chair, and that is by design. If you could capture the entire planet without leaving your city, how would the game encourage travels? It also wouldn't be fair to those who actually do go abroad to establish new bases.
  3. All progress is saved on the server, so deleting is perfectly safe, but I'm afraid it will not solve the problem! I've managed to reproduce this issue on a local device though, so there should be a fix released in the next couple of days (depending on the App Store's submission review times)!
  4. Thank you for the details! Hmm.. yes, the iOS 11 update has been known to cause some issues in certain apps, unfortunately. I will look into it!
  5. That's ok, I'm happy to delete this thread once the problem is solved. That message is usually our anti-cheat telling that you're travelling too fast... how quickly did you get to your current spot from the previous base?
  6. Hi all, Those who've upgraded "Domination: Earth" to version 1.9.1 (available on the Play Store and App Store now) will soon notice a new button on the "Earth View" and some text changes on the other tabs. But first things first, what's new! It is no longer possible to capture land within lands of your allies. This has been done to increase the significance of all your possessed lands, and to make it clearer who's the boss around a particular territory. After all, no two countries can share the same piece of land in the real world! So if you and your allies are currently occupying the same spot, you will not be able to expand these lands further unless one of you terminates the alliance (in which case your land upgrades start to deal damage to the underlying enemy lands) or... It is now possible to make offers on lands of other players and purchase them! So if you're keen on keeping your alliance intact, but want to expand a piece of land blocked by another person, you can now offer to purchase the blocking land in exchange for some resources (any amount of any resource). "Purchase Land" and "Trade Management" options are available from the new context menu button on "Earth View". We've thought long and hard about this feature, as it's been mentioned in the past that all inter-player trades are off the table due to the fact that we encourage people to explore real world & travel, not ask for resources on the forum or try to find rich sponsors to advance through the game. However, we've decided that Land Trade can still be allowed as you cannot offer resources to someone who doesn't have any lands (i.e. they'd still have to explore real world first and build lands in all the right places to benefit from the trade ), plus to pay for the offer you'd have to go out and collect some resources first. It is now possible to upgrade maximum level lands further than level 100 by merging the surrounding lands of maximum level (100+). It is still impossible to increase size of a level 100 land by using "Capture Land" within a 500m radius from its center, but as soon as any piece of land touching the level 100's border (or located within) reaches level 100 it will automatically become part of the larger land, increasing its level by 100. Each building that used to exist on the smaller land will disappear, awarding your base with one additional level up point per building level. I.e. merging a land that has a level 5 sandbag wall on it will reward your base with +5 points. Each land now has a unique name provided to us by Google Places! This doesn't affect all lands that have been captured until this point, but upgrading them will update their name as well. This means that if you capture a piece of land while sitting in a "Mr. Dragon's Pub" your land will most likely be named "Mr. Dragon's Pub" too. As always, please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions or run into any issues! All feedback is also very much welcome.
  7. That is peculiar! May I ask what app version do you have? If the version is lower than 1.9.1, can you please upgrade to the latest and let me know if the problem persists? P.S. If you don't know the version, simply check the "Updates" section of the App Store for "Domination: Earth".
  8. That usually is an indicator of one of two issues: a) Internet connectivity problems: as soon as the camera screen closes and returns you back to the "Charges" screen the scrapping results are sent to our server for processing. If that fails for any reason you will see the same amount of charges. b) GPS chip failure / inability to identify your current position. As in Ruvox's case, "Waiting for location..." is a message thrown by the Google Maps app (which is what Domination is based on). Unfortunately, there's little we can do to affect this behaviour, as on some phones the GPS tends to freeze occasionally. But restarting the game and/or phone usually fixes this indeed! Does this happen every time or were you able to scrap at least something? I will be trying to reproduce the problem and find a solution, but every little bit of information helps.
  9. Thanks for the report, Masonic32! When you say "reboots the game", do you mean that the "Scrap Items" tab opens again (showing the remaining number of charges), but without any result message? Or does the app crash completely and you have to open the game from scratch by tapping on its icon?
  10. Ah! I honestly can't wait to tell you, but we are waiting for enough players to upgrade to 1.9.1 before the new features are enabled on our server. Stay tuned, there will most likely be an announcement tomorrow or on Wednesday (depending on the upgrade count)!
  11. We don't really have any budget to pay for someone's efforts in real world (yet), so I apologize for not being able to offer that option. However, using "Refer a friend" system can be really beneficial if you distribute your QR code around!
  12. That is exactly why we have the "Refer a friend" system in the game. You can send a screenshot of your QR code or just post an image of that code online, and every time someone scans it (using "Scrap Items") they will be considered as referred by yourself. There is no personnel rewarded for referrals, but there's plenty of gold and supplies in stock!
  13. Thank you for your ideas, Anorse! Just to clarify a few things: We do have special events on international holidays; we've had a contest and some exclusive in-game rewards from scrapping for Halloween, and I'm positive there will be something around Christmas this year. Something similar is actually already in my task list; we're planning to introduce flags eventually with a few other customization features. I do know what you're saying (we did play civilization ) and I like the idea of buildings requiring their own space. I think the actual tile shape is a matter of taste (we've already received a number of "shape suggestions" and it seems that everyone prefers something different ), so we'll most likely stick with circles as they're much faster for the app to render & display on the screen than custom polygons: considering the size of our world (which is a lot bigger than any civilization map! ) every millisecond counts and displaying thousands of hexagons generates a lot more lag than displaying the same amount of circles! However, our in-game world is "sort of" split into invisible tiles already, which is why there's a 500m radius limit for every non-base land. We're working on an algorithm allowing to "merge" these tiles and potentially create larger circles (as the game's objective is to capture the world after all!) and once this is done I'm sure we'll come up with something else interesting using that mechanics, but none of that's been set in stone yet, so any ideas are welcome.
  14. Also sent you a PM! For the future, if any one else experiences any issues, please do not hesitate to start a new thread in the Technical Support forum or raise a question in "Player Q&A". Please refrain from reporting issues in guides unrelated to these issues and in the news, as this makes things look messy and confusing for other readers (who expected to see something resource-related in this thread ). Thank you in advance!
  15. @DeafJaeger, @RSFlux thank you both for your reports and patience! A fix has been released; please download the latest version of the app (1.9.1) from the Play Store to get it.
  16. Each circle with a green flag is your land that grows. Your base and the largest circle underneath it are also considered your territory, which secures resource stations and prevents other players from using it, but that land only grows when the associated base reaches next level (see level progress in "My Lands" window). And the small circle underneath your base represents the 100m radius that you have to leave to be considered "outside the base" (for the purpose of new land capture). And vice versa, while being inside that circle you can access base buildings such as Assembly Plant and Warehouse. I hope that helps!
  17. Ok, cool! So did it work the second time around?
  18. Play Store offers subscriptions in currencies local to your device, so whichever country your account is linked to will determine the currency used. What currency do you see next to the one-off package purchases? It automatically changes in every country, so whatever you see there should be the same for subscriptions. I hope that helps!
  19. Of course! There's a 5% chance for a resource building to appear somewhere every time you or anyone else captures land nearby. Additionally, it's almost guaranteed that a new building appears for another 7 days whenever you build a new base or your current base reaches its next level!
  20. No problem! But that account also has zero base moves; you should be able to do it again. Does the confirmation pop-up not appear when you press "Move"?
  21. I appreciate the suggestions, but please post any ideas & suggestions in the "General Discussion" forum next time; as this isn't official game news!
  22. Mr. D

    Claiming resources

Yes, there is unfortunately no way to efficiently visualize individual radiuses for each group of activated items (lots of circles would be very confusing). But the item description does state "Only affects Resource: X", so there's no reason why combining a Metal Detector with a Bullhorn is supposed to increase the effect of both! The only item that's universal is super magnet, so when I mentioned 3km I was referring to 10 of those activated at once (10 x 300m). P.S. There is also an "Experimental Magnet" (600m radius), but it's incredibly rare and exists only for 24 hours, so it's not possible to accumulate them in the warehouse.
  23. Looking at the database, your Base move counter is still at zero! Perhaps give it another go? Move will be instant, but it will happen only after you tap the red confirmation button (appearing once you tap "Move").
  24. No problem at all! You can actually Move your base yourself by going to "My Lands", swiping right on the base's name and tapping "Move". Just make sure you're standing in the right spot this time, as this Move is only available once!
  25. I have to agree with Ruvox on that one! Domination's goal is to get people outside and as far from home as possible, not "inside" by introducing more ways to do everything remotely. There will be some game mechanics changes in the near future that "sort of" add a couple more ways to capture lands remotely (but still requiring large amounts of resources that have to be picked up manually first), but that only applies to areas already visited; it will not be possible to capture a piece of North Pole without physically going there. Anyway, stay tuned for updates!
