  1. Yup, once you reach a certain land level threshold you need to do pretty much what the tooltip says! Build a few sand bag walls on that land or a guard tower, then you can upgrade those to unlock more levels.
  2. Hmm... There isn't any functionality to delete/move lands currently (as they comprise your base's level progress), but we are thinking about adding some additional features related to land merging; i.e. whenever a land reaches maximum level it would connect to the nearest land and in the end everything would be one super-sized land around your base. I'll have a think about any other alternatives though!
  3. No specific reason other than the ability to reset things to the default state; otherwise it would be a manual task when needed. However, I'll see if we can keep the camera angle/zoom and just move it to where the action takes place when you hit collect/capture. Never thought I'd hear about a problem of too many resources over your lands! I'll have a think about what can be done, but this may not be as quick as the camera fix above (I have no idea where such filter controls would be located yet).
  4. Ruvox is correct! However, messages that lead to the map are usually associated with damage dealt or taken. If it's just a generic notification about an army approaching then there's no spot on the map yet (so tapping on the message may not do anything). I recommend visiting "My Lands" and checking Army Controls -> "Defence Status" of a base that's been attacked (its name will be highlighted in red). If no bases are highlighted in red then the enemy may have cancelled combat before it began.
  5. Your base grows with each captured land outside of it: think of each flag as an experience point towards base's next level. You can actually see the level progress for each base on "My Lands" (that's the number in brackets next to base level).
  6. It looks like your base is at level 4, which allows up to 400 resources in total; try capturing more lands to increase its level! I'll review the logs though to make sure nothing else dodgy is going on!
  7. Nope, the number of individual lands doesn't matter (as they're all different size)! Country leader is the person with the greatest combined square mileage of all lands, hence that "km2" number in brackets - that's what is important.
  8. There is no specific time for resources or their sources, everything has a chance to appear whenever you capture lands or upgrade the existing ones. However, getting a new base level almost certainly guarantees a new source appearing somewhere!
  9. It's not limited by the amount of uses, but all sources are time-sensitive and disappear in approx. 7 days after they first appeared on the map. It is in my task list to add a counter indicating remaining time though!

    Name Change

I must admit that I've never encountered such scenario, as if the profile is saved and you managed to see changes on the map then your details are stored on our server; re-opening the app shouldn't reset that (unless you're using another device that still uses the old profile?). In any case, I've updated your details again manually; please let me know if they stick now.
  11. Thanks, Ruvox! It is refreshing to get some help answering questions!
  12. That's correct, the base doesn't grow when you capture land within its radius; take a closer look at the appearing pop up! When you capture land on a base its defences grow temporarily, which is useful if you're under attack. But the only way to advance your base forward is by capturing lands outside of it: every land capture and every upgrade of external lands counts as a "level up" point for your base. So you cannot expand its territory without leaving home (after all, that's what the game is all about - going outside ). Yes indeed; some players have thousands of lands captured and adding them to the list would be devastating for the UI, plus defeat the purpose of a game oriented on travels and going outside. However, we are working on an update which would allow managing *some* larger pieces of land (of a very high level) remotely by utilising certain base features. Smaller lands though will still be unmanageable if you're too far away, remaining just as indicators of accumulated base experience. If the countdown did start then something has upgraded or a new land appeared somewhere, but it may not have been in your current position. In areas with bad network coverage and slow internet the GPS may jump sideways sometimes and capture lands that aren't exactly nearby. Unfortunately, it is a hardware limitation that we can't fix (unless we start installing cell tower all over the world to improve coverage, but that's slightly outside our budget ). The only possible exception is if you've been blocked by our anti-cheat (in case the GPS jumped too far), but in this case switching back and forth between tabs (once) should reset the timer back to zero.

    Bug?

Can you post a screenshot or paste the exact wording of these text messages? Usually when you claim land within your base a new resource appears in the area and that's what the notification is most likely referring to. E.g. if it states "New resource appeared in the area: Money (96)!" it doesn't mean that you've gained the Money, it's an indicator to look for it on a map: the Money is somewhere nearby and you could go and pick it up.
  14. Sorry, but in normal circumstances when you're on a base you can only affect the base; you cannot capture a land within, so it wouldn't work the other way round too. However, if you leave the base (that inner green circle) and press "Capture" the nearest land (i.e. the one you're referring to) will get a point. But it is a universal rule that to advance lands you *have* to leave your base; this applies to everyone.
  15. No, there will be no names involved; you will be tapping on a visible target on a map to attack. Don't worry, a lot of planning has gone into this update; we will not make things worse.
  16. That's correct, marching time would be really long to cross the planet The enemy list would be gone entirely and you will need to see your enemy to target them, so it's not going to be a complete chaos.
  17. Thank you for your ideas, @Grizzlyfilms. Can you please elaborate on what you mean by the "Paintbrush tool"? I also wanted to ask about the "Tutorial" point: we currently have the round "i" button with the "Current Objectives", which shows you the key game elements step by step. What do you feel is missing from that window and what information would be needed for an additional tutorial?
  18. @DylanJax I've sent you a PM, but please let me know if something still doesn't make sense!
  19. It's more a question of in-game "balance", as it would take less than a day to capture 4 points around a large city (London, for instance) and that would make all lands lose their "value". However, we are thinking that once your current independent lands grow enough for their borders to "touch" each other these lands would merge and create custom-shaped territories. We're still working out the details, but something like that will be built in the future!
  20. Yup, the same system works everywhere. Bases are automatically named after a nearby city, landmark or region, but we are planning to implement additional controls and allow individual lands to have names, plus have an ability to rename high level lands yourself. So keep an eye out for updates!
  21. That's an interesting idea! It's also been suggested to me recently that we should block capturing of lands within another player's territory if there are defensive structures in place (such as Guard Tower). I think we'll implement some of these new mechanics in the near future, as the ideas make perfect sense. As I mentioned in the other thread, we are really grateful for any help we can get; our team is really small. As we don't have an in-game chat there's no in-game moderation required, but we definitely appreciate your testing & bug reports, and will support any YouTube channels and game-related videos you can make! If you do something like that please PM me with a link so that we knew about those resources and could reward you for your efforts!
  22. Thanks, Grizzlyfilms! We are planning to implement an automated referral reward program in the game, but we definitely appreciate any help we can get with inviting players and especially making videos. We have a YouTube channel, but there are no videos yet (too much to do, to little time and not enough staff! ). But please PM me if you manage to make some videos and we'll discuss the rewards!
  23. It is peculiar indeed, but none of that will matter soon as the combat system will be completely overhauled: the new version allows to attack anyone anywhere (selecting specific targets), the only difference will be in the time it takes for an army to reach its destination. So let's leave it as is for now, if anything that allows for more interaction between players in areas where there are few!
  24. The tutorial states: Don't worry if you've accidentally placed your base in a wrong spot, it can be moved once again to another place from "My Lands" later "Once" has been added specifically to indicate one attempt. But I'm happy to re-phrase if this sentence seems confusing!
