  1. Ok, apart from the Personnel Beacon I believe there's also the following problem:

You've activated 3 Metal Detectors, 3 Radio Transmitters, and 4 Bullhorns, so your collection radius bonus is +300m for Money, +300 for Supplies, +400 for Personnel.
However, the red circle on the Earth View is showing the combined total (300+300+400 = 1km collection bonus), while it should be the highest collection bonus instead (+400 for Personnel).

    This will be fixed!

As my personal apology for all the lost items I will add some stuff to your inventory shortly. ;)

  2. Hi BumpyKnuckles,

My apologies for these frustrating moments; the game is a work in progress, so I'm sure it'll become better once we figure out all such annoying scenarios (I promise we'll fix them all if you keep reporting them)! :)

As far as I understand from the screenshot, the inability to pick up Personnel Recruitment Beacon prevents you from collecting all other resources (while Personnel Recruitment Beacon can only be captured via the "Flag" button).

I will run some tests to see what the problem is and will create a fix asap, but can you please confirm if you're able to capture this beacon using the "Flag" button once the land capture timer expires (the one showing "01:31" on your screenshot)?

  3. Welcome, Locust!
And glad to hear you're enjoying the game! :)

Will there be a donation feature in the future?

Our donations are implemented via purchasing Unobtainium ("Construct" tab), so by purchasing that resource you're directly helping us to run the game servers! ;)

  4. Don't worry, all your stuff is still there!

What happened is that when you signed in via Google it has created a second account with that email address (as it was different to the one you used to create the original account).

I'm happy to merge those for you though so that you could access the same account using both emails. ;)

    I'll PM you the details!

  5. The list is not a secret, so I'm happy to share, of course. :)

However, in regard to "what each item does" I was hoping that information shown on the "Items & Power-ups" window (the "lightning bolt" button on "Earth View") would provide answers to that, for example:

    items.png.a748be1d40571477710450cde676885c.png

According to this description, "Metal Detector" only works on the Money resource and adds a 100m collection radius bonus for half an hour.
Which means that when this item is activated you can collect Money further than before (by 100 meters) for the next 30 minutes.

Bullhorn has a similar effect, but it applies to Personnel only.

It is possible to activate multiple items at the same time (e.g. two Bullhorns), which will increase your collection radius even further (by 200 meters in case of two Bullhorns). ;)

As you may have suspected, there is an item for each resource (Metal Detector for money, Bullhorn for Personnel, Radio Transmitter for Supplies) and also two universal items: Super Magnet (which only has 5 charges, i.e. can be used 5 times before it disappears) and Experimental Magnet (which has no charge limit, but will disappear in 24 hours unless activated).

Super Magnet increases collection radius for all items by 300m, while Experimental Magnet - by 600m.

Each items has its own production chance: Bullhorn, Metal Detector and Radio Transmitter have approx. 30% chance to be produced, Super Magnet - around 10% and Experimental Magnet - 5%.

I hope that helps, but please let me know if you have any questions!

P.S. There will undoubtedly be more items in the future, this is just the first batch. ;)

  6. Hi all,

1.7.0 will launch on the Play Store tonight and App Store release will follow later this week.

The key new feature of this release is the ability to move bases: you can now move your primary base once free of charge, in case you've placed it in the wrong spot.
You can also move one more base for 1 Unobtainium and then as many bases as you like for 5 Unobtainium each.

The option to "Move" base, as well as the Army Controls button, will now appear in "My Lands" on the updated UI: swipe right on your base's name to view both of these buttons.

Additionally, "Domination: Earth" has reduced in size to approx. 8 megabytes, so less data to download with each future update! ;)

Unfortunately, to optimise the game's size and performance we've had to make a sacrifice in terms of compatibility: older versions of Android (4.0, 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3) are no longer supported.

However, the game should become available on iOS 11 (and iPhone X) once 1.7.0 is out.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions!

in game communication would be great at meeting people and spur more people to stay on longer

Yes, but as I mentioned a few posts above:

I was hoping that as this is a mobile game and the alliance usually consists of a group of friends who know each other in real life, real-time communication would be based on 3rd party apps like "Messenger", while players unfamiliar with each other could arrange meetings and alliances on the forum.
The problem with adding in-game chat is that it requires monitoring to prevent verbal abuse, spam and other sorts of unpleasantries. :)
But unfortunately, we're a little short of staff right now to add a 24/7 chat moderation (there are fewer than 5 of us currently :)). However, this is definitely something we'll consider as we start growing!

The key issue with chat is moderation. :)
As soon as we have more staff available we'll start introducing means to communicate in the game. ;)

  8. The most important trick is to build an Assembly Plant as soon as you can, as it allows producing items that enhance your collection radius greatly. ;)

It is also worth mentioning that your current collection radius appears briefly (for approx. 2 seconds) after you tap on "pick up resources" (the "hand" button) or "capture land" (the flag button).
So if you want to test your current radius and see if the activated items changed anything - just hit "pick up resources" even if there isn't anything around to pick up!

In terms of reward, keep an eye out for extra-large spots; these have around 5% chance of appearing, but award up to x10 times more than usual locations (e.g. you can acquire up to 1,000 gold or around 400 supplies in one go).

We are also continuously working on improving our resource allocation algorithm to exclude inaccessible areas, so hopefully this aspect will get better with time. :)

Any suggestions or ideas are welcome though!

  9. Hi Nanachi!

    No problem!
I've deleted your base (so your account remains as is!); the next time you capture land you will establish a new primary base in a new place. ;)

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with!

For anyone else in need to delete a "Domination: Earth" account: please post in this thread, PM me on this forum with your in-game details (username, display name and/or lands title) or email support@domination.earth and I will process the deletion request as soon as possible.

I build a barrack for soldiers but i cant see it and I dont get any soldiers.

    Do you have multiple bases?

It should be within the "My Lands" page, listed in the base buildings (after you tap on a base to expand all buildings).

If it definitely isn't there - please post and I'll try to check to your account in the database to see what's going on. ;)

  11. Hi all,

Unfortunately, it appears that our Subscription system has been rejected by Apple as it is not allowed to have in-app subscriptions awarding consumable resources in any way.

Because of that we will be removing subscriptions for all iOS devices and only the one-off Unobtainium packages will remain in the near future.

An updated version of the game without the subscriptions will be submitted to the App Store later today and should be available with all the recent updates early next week (depending on the speed of review by Apple).

Play Store and Android devices remain unaffected and can still use the discounted subscriptions.

Our sincere apologies for inconvenience caused!

Mr.D! How do you look at being able to collect resources that are located inside green area of my lands.

Sometimes, new resources generates near land that I already capture. I think it would be convenient to collect them without being in the immediate vicinity.

For example, inside my green area of general base I have resource: Money (74). I press "collect resources" button and take it immediately.

Yup, that is actually already planned! :)
There will be a building you can add to your base that will collect such remote resources in the way you describe.

Can't say in which version it will be added as there's a huge mountain of things to do currently, but it's on the radar! ;)

  13. May I ask how you came up with these numbers?

https://domination.earth/ shows the exact number of players active in the last few days (the number has grown from approx. 1,000 to 1300-1400 in the last two weeks) and since the game's launch 4 weeks ago we've had around 4 thousand installs across all platforms.

If you are referring to the land statistics seen in the game, you are most likely looking at country Leaders: each country shows one person with the largest number of lands captured, so even if there are 1,000 players in the US there's only one Leader shown. :)

But of course, there are some countries where we aren't actively advertised and only a couple of players found us by accident (e.g. in Asia and Middle East). These countries may look "abandoned".

I think a few good reviews in AppStore and PlayMarket will correct this situation for Russia. Later, I will definitely add you a positive feedback to the app. Also I try to persuade a couple of my colleagues at work and my dear wife :D to start playing with me. I think it will be interesting! B|

That is awesome! We'll be happy to see your entire family in Domination: Earth! :D

And any feedback on the App/Play Store is, of course, greatly appreciated too! ;)

Thank you, Mr.D! It's very interesting information for me and other players i think.

I try to ask in English if you don't mind. It's a good way for me to practice my English)))

    No problem at all!

And sure, I'd be happy to chat in any language; practice is good indeed. :)

  16. There are two ways enemy players interact with each other currently:

    1) By capturing a piece of land within enemy territory: once your land reaches the same level as your enemy's, each of your check-ins will deal 1 point of damage to that land or its defensive structures (e.g. walls).
However, if the enemy builds a Guard Tower on that land, you won't be able to deal any damage to the land personally (in which case see option #2 below).

    2) Army.
Once you have barracks and recruited a bunch of soldiers, you can use "Army Controls" window (inside "My Lands") to target enemy players within a 100km radius from any of your bases.
You can either choose to attack their lands or bases (but please note that attacking anyone will make your primary base visible for 24 hours, allowing for retaliation).

If your lands are under attack by an army, it is wise to enable the "Defend surrounding lands" option within Army Controls: your army will travel to the attacked land and protect it. However, by doing so they lose any defence bonuses provided by the base where they used to be stationed.
In case enemy army attacks your base directly, they will be facing all the defensive structures protecting your defending army.
When that happens you will see a new option within the "Army Controls" panel saying either "Defence Status" or "Combat Progress" (depending on which side you are :)).

The actual status window will look approx. as follows (for the attacking side. Defenders have a bit more details):

    combat.thumb.png.7aec223c9b5921cdd75b62432d7f8f33.png

Every 10 minutes both armies engage in a skirmish and you see the results within the casualties section in real time.
If the defending armies are defeated, damage will be dealt to any defensive structures present on a base (walls, guard towers etc).
Once there are no more buildings to destroy, base's "level progress" will work as its hit points and take any incoming damage until the base is completely eradicated (or, in case of your primary base, reduced to level 1) or the attackers are slain.
In case of the latter, the combat ends, as expected. :)

Each battle can last up to 2 hours, so if you're completely unprepared and got ambushed you have the ability to collect some resources, build an army and transfer it to the "hot spot" (it is allowed to "top up" the battling forces from both sides while the combat's in progress).

Once the combat has ended (regardless of the outcome) there is a cooldown of one hour from the attacker's side, so you can't be attacked twice in a row.

We have plans to diversify combat in the future and introduce power-ups, different types of units and other nice things. :)
But until then... that's about it, really!

Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to find out more about a particular combat element!

  17. No problem at all!

The land capture timer is just a visual indication of time remaining, the actual countdown happens on our servers, so if your phone "freezes" the visual timer you should still be able to capture land in 15 minutes when the notification arrives (that one is also sent by our server, so it won't matter if the app is open or not). ;)
Alternatively, give it a few seconds to "catch up"; Earth View synchronises the land capture timer with the server every 30 seconds, so if it is falling behind the timer will jump forward once the synchronisation happens.

On a separate subject, please make sure you are running the latest version of the game (1.6+), as the UI changed recently and this may also cause additional issues!
If you see 4 round buttons at the bottom of "Earth View" then it is 1.6+ (and you don't need to do anything :)), but if there's one large yellow "Capture Land" button - then you have an old version that needs updating!

  18. I'd be happy to help, but I've noticed that your base is level 5 and has quite a few lands connected to it. Deleting it would be disastrous! :)

We are currently working on a feature to allow moving primary bases from within the game, it should be available in the next release.

Would you be happy to wait until then (in which case you'll be able to move the base yourself)?

  19. Thank you! :)
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the game!

Judging by the land capture statistics (that you can see if you zoom out the "Earth View" really far away) our key population is in the US and UK, that's where our game is being advertised.
However, I think we have at least a few players from almost all countries around the world who found us via other means. :)

I apologise if there aren't many active players in Russia, that is one big country and we can't afford to advertise there yet. :)
But hopefully the situation will change in the future!

  20. Hi,

If you are referring to "moving" armies (I believe it's called "Переместить армию" in Russian version of the game :)) this can only be done between bases - it determines which base your army is protecting currently (by default it's your first base).
If you have only one base right now, you can create additional bases by travelling further than 100km away from your initial base, capturing land and upgrading it to level 5 (then the base appears automatically).
After the base is established it will be a valid destination for army relocation.

If you are trying to defend your land you don't actually need to move army anywhere, just make sure the "Defend surrounding lands" toggle is enabled ("Защищать земли в округе") within the Army Controls window. Whenever someone attacks yourself there will be a new option to view combat progress as well.

As for attacking, you can attack anyone within a 100km radius without moving your army (if you zoom out "Earth View" far enough you can actually see your base's attack radius), but if there are no targets in the list you would need to build another base closer to your enemies indeed; armies cannot travel further than 100km away (yet). :)

Please let me know if it doesn't make sense, and also feel free to ask any questions directly in Russian - this is one of the supported languages of the game, after all. ;)
