  1. Apologies, I wasn't clear! Indeed I was asking about removing them from my* inventory so I could resume cleaning up the rest of the town. I wouldn't ever suggest anyone have the ability to affect what other players players have access to in a given area A trade rate would be nice but as I said, considering the value of time lately I wouldn't mind a simple delete option.
  2. I know things are busy what with new rules and discussions thereafter, but supplies have been an issue for a while. Without adding to the to-do list by suggesting creative alternatives, can we get an option to just delete supplies? I haven't minded much until recently but I'm in an area that spawns them favorably and it's impacting rss spawns from upgrades for having x number of rss's already on the map. Edit: or is there some other way I'm not noticing to use or lose them?
  3. It's also possible that a flag outside of your bases range was attacked. Any flags over 100km from a base are indefensible, but you should be able to see which flag was attacked by checking your messages. Tapping on any of the alerts or battle reports should take you to the flag in question.
  4. Ok, so everyone left in discord wanted to clarify.. You get no travel points for increasing the lvl of a flag or utility, but you do get base points? More than one sandbag on a 100+ flag is (will be) just sand art now.. And if you merge in a flag with a sandbag on it, only the lvl of the flag will be added as base levels These are the running premise?
  5. Just a quick one off the top of my head, if we have an area staged for base lvls with sandbags and utilities..can we merge them before the update to capitalize on our efforts?
  6. 1 and 3 are problematic for several reasons. Capital bases would work against my entire strategy. when I do go to my "capital" area.. I work bases up to their 20's and then when I get on the road (like I am now) I'll take specific routes so I can drop a 20 on a major urban area and not have to drive through there ever again.. Richmond and Orlando/Miami are on the menu this time. Why should I be punished or hampered in any way because I actually travel and spend ubt to move bases where I want them? ( Oh right..I remember ) This is a game for ppl who travel, I've met Lots ppl that I play games with while I'm on the road. Your time traveling is limited and important, it shouldn't be fettered. Furthermore, 3 is nothing BUT codified couching. I like trade balance but not like this. If anything I'd suggest that value for flags actually gets established (like..an economy) and any costs for trading Very large flags becomes TRULY (deleted) OBSCENE. #2 looks like everyone's Hail Mary. For serious.. The problem is with nested flags. Flags that most ppl buy are not inside their sphere of influence (they're also not lvl 100 but nobodies brought that up yet). And for anyone ready to cry "oh... There's gonna be so much clutter" first of all, don't lie. There's already filters in the game, you can add a little check box on flags to show that flag on your map or not.. Or maybe you'd just never see it by default, they already disappear for ppl that don't log for a coupe weeks. THAT would stem the bleeding and put flag building back where it belongs..outside of your flag! (And before it comes up, I don't code but I'm sure there's some way to treat flags -that you own- differently if they become enveloped while merging flags that were initially outside of your domain.)
  7. Yeah I remember that one. I was actually referencing the thread where you lost a flag to the FoT that you had a trade offer on and lost your rss's. So I wondered if we could fortify the FoT. I still haven't organized my other thoughts but I Did want to note, after reading the OP again, that it says that the trade system would be changed so we can still shuttle rss's.. Just possession of the flag won't change
  8. Furthermore.. I've been thinking quite a bit about the state of most veteran players and I've had some ideas that I've wanted to bring up but haven't because I know your busy Mr. D. Hopefully we can start a more productive focus on easier fixes that would improve the game.. Going back to another thread that Oleg made, would there be an option to sell large flags to the FoT? That way some players could reorganize their lands as Well as have a Really good battle! There's always options, and losing the ability to shuttle rss's around the globe via flags is something that's really valuable.

If you don't like the rules you don't have to play! And playing the victim card and blaming the dev is just absurd. Grow up
  10. Does this mean that we could, in theory, bolster the FoT by baiting them with flag trades? Do they enlist soldiers that they "capture"? Not to detract from the unfortunate circumstances that started this topic, but it would be interesting if we could effectively propagate some really nice sized battles while we're waiting for updates
  11. Sorry to bring up an old thread but it's related. You mentioned 200 (or so) unique spots in a screen (5km²), is that only counting rss's or does that also include FoT flags towers and sandbags as well?
  12. Morning from the east coast! We're experiencing some interruptions. Most times the maps load but no icons populate.. And that's if the client itself loads. Forums were having problems too for some. Second edit: it seems to be back up but slow. Just fyi
  13. So.. My Dude I really didn't want to quote..but I'm just not sure. Let's just meet in the middle.. When it comes to war, yes.. Have your shit together. Unless you've never been there and then hell.. Just have fun for a week. It Can be fun! You learn more "on the job" than not. It's not really a big deal unless you take it seriously. (This is not a license to be a $&*#) Of course a new poster knows not to step on Warlords.. As if they even know what that means.. But all this about don't trust anyone, but talk to ppl on discord for help needs to be proofread. Also I understand your position on URAS, I understand your experience. I would maintain that just because you choose to run solo (and you do it well) is no excuse to disparage a collective.. Alliances, and all their cheesy affiliates, actually work very well for everyone involved, financially and otherwise. Especially those on discord. I know what you're gonna say, and you know what I'm gonna say after that. So let's not discourage new players with our parry's and jabs. Next time we give real advice

  16. So... I just wrote this whole post out thinking it was a bug and the last thing I said gave me derpatitis.. If you don't have a warehouse you can't use the assembly plant if your not there to pick it up? Am I Derping this right? Because after I got some money today and built a supply factory and warehouse it worked like normal..

  18. Is this an option in settings or did you get a new phone recently? I have a note 8, likely considered a large phone but I've never activated the one-handed usage feature.. Mostly because it sucks and large devices are awkwardly off balance in one hand Regardless I was just curious where you found this
  19. This is reproducible. I've driven some 700 miles in the last several days and was leaving rss's on the ground at 2.5km fairly consistently. 20181227_203228.mp4 Edit: I tried uploading a video of the bug but it seems it can't be played so more to 'splain Super magnets x 10 are consistently leaving rss's on the ground beyond 2.5 km. I'm not sure if it's all rss's but I think I've had more gold and troops left then supplies, I'll try uploading again just for fun but wanted to clarify the issue first.
  20. And we need more then 3 minutes to edit these things lol! I forgot to mention as well that I'd like to have an alternate method for saying who recruited you, like an alphanumeric or something. I'm just not crazy about explaining to someone why I'm sending them a ss of my QR and how they need to then..etc
  21. So I had a couple ideas for ways I wanted to promote the game as i travel about.. Mostly I've been waiting for 2.0 to drop before implementing them but also I've been thinking about an improved referral system. Currently it really only functions for ppl that are literally standing next to each other, and yes, I remember the other week when we were sharing our QR codes in discord, but for the sake of argument let's just say that I don't have a printer (because I don't ). I like the ability to scan the qr code for rss's like scrapping, but I'm wondering if we can improve its functionality. Granted I'm not particularly skilled in these things but isn't it possible to have one QR code that if you scanned, it would take you to the listing in the app store, and I guess you'd have to scan it again to complete the referral, but even after, it would still work for your scrapping purposes.. The idea being that I want to make stickers with my QR referral code on them and go slap em up on bus stops and things that function like old phone booths used to.. But it needs to be idiot proof because..you know.. Ppl are idiots I think even that Valar had made some printouts a couple months ago right after I joined that just had like the game logo and his QR on it. Granted I'd also like to increase the rewards or suggest that we go all Amway on it like a pyramid scheme .. I'd love to see something where if you got into a war that all the ppl you've recruited would rally like 5% of their troops to your banner.. But invariably that idea just doesn't fly. Or maybe just toss a little ubt at ppl when they do the lvl 10/extra bases thing. We need to get ppl talking about this again once 2.0 drops. Everybody likes a little more loot, but really I just want that QR code to work a little better. You guys know the drill, if there's anything else you're thinking along these lines.. Grizzly, Do NOT ask for a Navy!

(I couldn't delete the tag 🤔) Not to over simplify things, but couldn't you just add a little blurb at the end of the current objectives menu where you say "Go conquer the world, but don't be a cheese and engage in flag swapping!" Of course you'd consider your words more carefully, but if we're having these problems with player communication and "what exactly *Is* the Cheese?" then why not add another page of text, like a menu tab, where you just lay down the law so nobody has the excuse of "..Oh, but I never went to the forums..But oh I don't do the discord.. I didn't know" Even though were still not at the end of the issue, I think it would give you some room to breath if you could just update that cheese text with any other no-no's as they crop up.. Ie: there are still ppl that join these games that think gps spoofing is ok.. -blurb- now everyone knows it isn't.. Ppl can't wait to be an Idiot if you let them.. Lol don't let them! Also there seems to be some confusion on the second parameter you outlined as unacceptable, I'm pretty sure that will turn into its own thing shortly! (Lol this threads getting confusing enough already) Please don't let these thoughts detract from our thanks for you putting your foot down on the cheese👇🧀! Looking forward to 2.0!!
  23. Grizzly, no offense..but you have a 6 page thread of JUST YOUR ideas..please don't distract other threads. And I'm going to declare War on the next person that says this game needs Taxes! But I digress I don't think he ever said that, and I certainly will not be agreeing with you. You saw my comments the other day in discord and never said anything, which is fine. But I maintain that if you leave the opportunity to trade flags to anyone, even one way sales, I fully expect the cheese mongers to enter into trade relationships where they build their flags and sell them to their friends. You're still gonna build your death stars... They'll just be at your friends house instead instead of yours..and vice versa..there's no functional difference to your land being somewhere else and living on someone else's lands. The cheese is real, and it's going to be responsible for some nasty side effects.
