I bet im the only one in Nebraska

I know that my land increases by 5 or 10 meters every time i level up. But is it the very small circle, the medium circle, or the very large circle that represents my land?

I only see one other person in california on my map. He is in LA. But after that, the nearest person is all the way in Nebraska, which is me.
