  1. I prefer an option that isn't listed: Whatever is best for stability and performance. Gameplay is much more important to me than graphics. In games on any platform, functionality trumps form every time.
  2. Discord has outages sometimes. They usually don't last too long.
  3. So, for the last month or so I have been pushing hard to become the person in the United States with the highest land area captured. And for around the same amount of time, the player in California has been matching me. Which I was impressed with, since I think my expansion has been great. And now, with the release of the leaderboards, so I can view my exact total of m², I have begun to suspect that there may be an issue with the country leaders updating correctly. I log in to the game to capture land, and check the binoculars on the map for the U. S. Then, I check my total m² on the leaderboards. They are identical. I capture land, bumping my m² up by a small amount, and it is immediately reflected on the leaderboards. Then I check the map again, making sure that it updates. The totals are, once again, identical. I have repeated this a few times today, and have never noticed a discrepancy between the land total for Tanyon and my total, assuming that I make sure that the map reloads. It looks like the land total may be updating correctly, but the country leader is not.
  4. @marcofi, I'll take a slightly different approach: What is winning in Domination:Earth? I would argue that the win conditions are in the name of the game. Therefore, winning is capturing the most land. The ultimate goal is m² of land. And you can't buy land area. That takes time and dedication. You can buy personnel and supplies for larger armies, at an exorbitant(compared to just going out and collecting resources) cost. You can buy resources for upgrading your buildings, again at an exorbitant cost. Patience gets you a much better and more effective way to collect resources(tracking satellite), which gets better the closer you get to winning(capturing land). Right now, the only way to win Domination:Earth is spend time playing.
  5. You need to level that land to L5, then it will become another base.
  6. You may be closer to a different piece of land than the one you're trying to upgrade. Which would make the game try to upgrade that one, and if it already has a completed tower and wall, your only option would be the launcher. You could try moving as close as possible to the land you need to build a wall on, and see if that works.
  7. There is no top-down map. It's always viewed at an angle.
  8. Because of the angle of viewing the map, resources/points on the map aren't in the places they look like they are. If you zoom in as far as you can, they're most accurate. The farther out you zoom, the more error is introduced.
  9. Just about an hour ago, I finally got two lands that were touching to L100. As I understand it, the one that reached L100 first is supposed to stay the center, and gain some diameter by absorbing the 2nd land to reach L100. What happened in my case was the 1st land was absorbed by the 2nd. This destroyed all my buildings I had already built on the 1st, which is annoying. Less annoying since I hadn't yet built the missile launcher, but everything else was maxed out, so I lost all I'd spent on that. If the 2nd absorbing the 1st is intentional, cool. But it would be good to make that clear, so that players can plan. I would have not fully upgraded the 1st land, knowing that it would be gone.
  10. I'm just north of Detroit. Join the Discord and send me a message.
  11. How far do item collection boosters stack? Can I activate 9 super magnets, and stack them with 6 bullhorns, for a total personnel collection radius of 3300m? Is there a maximum cap, and if so, can I mix-and-match any items I want to get there? And on a related note, I noticed that the super magnets have a number of "charges" associated with them. I suspect that it means after hitting the "collect" button 5 times, they go away, whether or not the hour limit has been reached. Is this correct? Thanks.
