  1. There is also Zombies, Run!. It is closer to training apps with game features. You just listen to the strory you taking part in and run (I just walk quickly). There is a map showing your route, you collect some resources automatically while moving and can build township using them. I like such apps that stimulates activity and maybe start running with it as it offers training programs even for maraphon. But my English is not so good to understand everything in audio clips.
  2. Most interesting games are mentioned above. I also played DominAnt, ColorPlanet (2 games of the same developer). Maybe they are fun if someone else is playing them in the same city. Not in my case. Very simple games so it gets too boring in a few days. There is also GPS Monster Scouter - offline GPS game some kind of PokemonGo with very oldschool UI. Maybe some fans of collecting monster would like it. Most of such games are not interesting to play. The only exceptions for me are Ingress (15 lvl after 2 years of playing), Resources (almost nothing to do there after level 10 base). I played PoGo but stopped - to unstable for my phone and rather boring. There are no interesting targets making you travel somewhere, think strategically. And there were huge amount of cheaters. There is also DeltaT being developed by Indian team but it is in closed state until Spring and I have many doubts this project will be successful. For some time I had been playing GeoCreeps. It seems its development is frozen though there were some fun ideas. All economical and square land capturing types of GPS games are very primitive. I couldn't play them longer than a week. (Turf Wars, Lord, etc.) I hope Domination will have something that attract people. As for now a lot of things should be done for that.
  3. Great, it works again! I like new tooltips (I was missing the ability to do something with the object without going to menu and searching it again). It is working 10 minutes and no crashes! The map is much clearer now, without any garbage so it is easy to find game object and my location mark. When I zoom to city level I see a whole picture with green and red flags. I like that wall icons are replaced with flags to easily see my and foreign ones. It makes the game more interesting to play but I wish that the game would require me to visit enemy lands not just attack from anywhere. Things that I wish to have: One-hand zoom. It is very useful in transport and in cold weather. Now it just zooms in the map on double-tap. No way to zoom out. One-hand rotation. Oh, there is no rotation at all now. Not critical but that would be handy. It is still hard to distinguish my and enemy buildings when the map is zoomed in. They just look the same. At least now I can zoom out and see flag's color. Maybe flags should be displayed on every zoom or the colors of buildings should be changed, not sure. Mark my heading somehow on blue icon of current position (using compass). Performance is not so fast, it seems it mainly depends on the server response,not sure. Anyway it is quite playable.

  5. Unfortunately it just displays the same. Supporting 2 different versions could be hard. Maybe you could try to reverse engineer Resources Game. It uses different map sources, very responsive and user-friendly. Many GPS apps like OsmAnd also are able to display a lot of elements and work pretty stable with my phone.
  6. Yes, there was a new update, I've installed it but nothing changes. When I switch to "My Lands" tab I can see the nearest land and my base and can do all operations there. Only Earth View tab which doesn't work. Android System WebView 63.0.3239.111
  7. Unfortunately the map does't load at all for me with this version. There is just "Retrieving GPS coordinates" and rotating circles. I can switch between tabs and open menu though. Tried cleaning cache, I've even reinstalled the game and reloaded the phone. Nothing helps. GPS is on, other GPS programs work as usual, GPSTest shows 10 satellites in view.
  8. I've mentioned about it before but now I want to start new topic about this problem. The game crashes (just closes silently) sometimes after just several seconds of playing. It is somehow connected with the map. When I move or zoom it crashes quickly. If I do something else I have 1-2 minutes to play. That's very annoying. I have Samsung Galaxy S4, Android 5.0.1. I am not sure, maybe that is only the problem of my system/software but maybe you can recommend something. I had similar problems with some other games with embedded maps but at the same time there are no any problems with original Google Maps/Earth (and any other GPS app), Ingress, Resources, etc. When I check RAM I see 1.44GB/1.82GB when the game is running and 1.33 right after the crash. When I clean RAM I see 1.25GB. I can also see that game eats 205MB after start and 250-300MB after slight map move and then stops. When I just switch between the game and the memory info page I can see that memory usage grows by 5-7MB on each switch even if I didn't do anything in the game. If I slightly move the map it gives me +10-15MB. There is a map location moving to which and zooming gurantees game crash. I am pretty sure there is some memory leak. I've read about some kind of it in Android 5 system but maybe it could be fixed in the game. I hope you can help me to fix it.
  9. Maybe that depends on Android version. I have 5.0.1. Almost no options there. In my opinion rating information should be always actual and users should not have the ability to hide it as it makes the list useless. Take a look at most of the games with the internal stats, e.g. Resources Game. The more stats and lists you show the longer your game will be interesting for players. I'd like to see local (country and maybe city) stats, not only global. I'd like to see my current total area somewhere toom maybe some charts. Competition is the main part of the game.
  10. Maybe it worked for free resource but it didn't work for owned resource. My land level was lower the the enemy's one but I have upgraded it later. That's why I asked if there was an ability to capture such resource stations.
  11. I cannot find myself in Largest Army and Highest Base Level lists. There is also papasid player (country leader) but I don't see him in any list. The lists are probably updated only when something changes but why not to initialize them? Saying honestly I don't like Google Play ratings and achievements. They are almost always boring and inconvenient. For example here I have to do useless switch from 'friends' to 'all' every time I want to look at the rating.
  12. What if there was already my land but the resource is not within its radius? When I upgrade my land it still doesn't cover the resource even if I am at the resource location. How can I capture it? Upgrading to level 100 is very long process.
  13. Yes, you are right. That's why I usually prefer English language instead of localizations but this game doesn't allow language change. As for resources maybe I don't have big quantity of them so they are not limited by base level in my case. I only see that it is just a base radius which is improved with new level. That would be nice to have more benefits of base upgrade.
  14. Could you please provide some details? My base level is 11 now. What does it give me? I still can bring only 10 resources and store 30 in the base's warehouse. But that depends on the warehouse's level not the base level.
  15. I've upgraded my nearest land to level 5 (higher than enemy's land) but the plant is still not mine. I didn't had the ability to come to its location (hospital territory is closed at night). Is this as expected? Do I need to 1) have higher land nearby and 2) go to plant location and capture it?
  16. I've discovered enemy resource plant. There is my land nearby. I come to the plant's location and tried to capture the land but it didn't work and there was a message that my level should be higher then enemy level. What level is referred and how to capture this plant? Related question. What happens when my land and enemy land overlap? It seems there is no limitation and I can create new land near the enemy land in any radius. But when I later capture enemy land there are to my land close to each other which is not good (too long time to upgrade both)
  17. That should be fixed as it is very confusing. It is ok to have fixed size icons for all zoom levels but common practice is that icons have some point showing the exact location of the resource (e.g. center of the icon or bottom point of the flag). Independantly of the zoom level or rotation this point should have fixed location. As I can see now when I zoom in to see the precise location of some resource it may be located at cross-road but when I zoom out icon moves far from that cross-road. Check it please.
  18. But I used normal angle (flat map) so there shouldn't be any distortions. Zoom should not change any relational dimensions.
  19. It seems that either the resource capturing radius or resource placement are incorrect. I've applied 2 metal detectors and initiated resource capture. Displayed radius covers money icon fully but message says: "no resources nearby". Here are screenshots. When I walked few more steps toward the resource it worked.
  20. It was level 1 so it takes the same time to just capture it from the base even sitting at home. So it still doesn't stimulate walking. Maybe that tactics is more helpful for well-defended lands as guard tower doesn't spend armies.
  21. I like the developers' intention to make players walk and visit new places. That's why I play such games. But there are many games where random resources appear on the map and/or you can capture territory and attack others. And that's all. After several weeks of playing it became too boring. Especially if there are no other players in the city. So I hope you will implement something that would make the game more like chess adding logistics, realistic army movements. One of the scenarios is to make players reach some location before enemy army to protect it, or even intercept enemy army in some point and destroy, or supply own/friendly army. I'd like to see all my lands like united empire not just a set of separated circles. I like the latest idea about merging lands but It would take a lot of time to check it. Unfortunately walking doesn't speed it up so it stimulates sitting in the same location upgrading single land, not walking.
  22. At last there are other players in my city. While walking I visited other player's land but I couldn't find any option I could do standing near that land. All I could do was to attack the land from my base waiting for 10 minutes. But why should I wait if I am near the land? It doesn't stimulate walking, doesn't allow some tactics. You can sit at home doing absolutely the same. Something more interesting should be invented for such cases. Not sure what exactly. Balance should be kept too.
  23. So by default the army was protecting the base. I see now. Still not sure it is realistic as when army defend lands nearby they defend all and each lands in 100 km radius if I understand it correctly.
