Yes, I think I remember Swarm.  I was on a Windows device and our version was 4 Mayor or something...

New updates working better though sometimes the map will glitch when switching between this app and Greed City, and I will have to shut down to reload.  Still get occasional freeze but might be once a day instead of all the time as before.

I have played all on the first list and most of the others mentioned later, all the way back to claim jumpers, a game ported from a stand alone gps.  I also play some like greed city. With only a small GPS component.  My favorite was Own This World.  There are advantages and disadvantages to having Hex or Squares thar you controled overlaid on the map.  The players it was big with liked that it dropped a troop every 30 seconds, so driving you could take over territories just by having the game on.  Big with truckers an RV crowd that would rule the freeways.

[AI stregnth]

So watching the conversation taking place on Discord it appears that a eye is an interesting mix / challenge for more experienced players.

I myself am a new player and didn't see reference to the AI when I first started playing, so was not expecting it. It was out there growing and I thought it was another player and so I did not mess with it. It grew efficiently while I was still learning the game and wasting some of my time and resources just learning. It's base was higher level than mine when I found it and it's only grown.

What I have experienced and what I've seen from some of the other new players is that the A I may be growing too powerful too quick for new players to catch up on the learning curve. One suggestion maybe two have a limit into its growth rate relative to the average player base level in the area.

I am by no means giving up. So far I like this game although sometimes it's a little hard to collect resources as my check in points are spread throughout the city. I will find some way to beat this thing.

I just saw a new update came out 6 hours ago. I have installed it in things seem to be running a little smoother. I will let you know if I'm still having problems

It was 5 sec before update.  Now usually 18 to 20 sec.  Longer if I move the screen.  I usually play while riding in carpool 60 to 80 mph, but it happens when walking too.  

Ever consider adding an auto follow option so you don't have to move the screen?

Wanted to report that the new map appears to be lagging. Is there a speed limit on the new map? Sometimes it just shows the last position in doesn't show me moving even when I am at walking speed. It is making resource collection difficult
