  1. Surely 8 radio transmitters aren't the only reward for that quest? 😉 But as stated above, rewards are procedurally generated; sometimes the same quest may be more rewarding than others.
  2. When the quest expires there may be a small delay before it actually disappears & reappears as there's a "quest cleanup cycle" which is a separate process linked to nearby player activity. So if you still see a quest on the map you can pick it up indeed (it will work), but it may not be wise to start a really long travel to do so as it can disappear any moment. Usually this delay is fairly small though, so please let me know if you have lots of expired quests lying around for hours.
  3. Hi, PM me your display name and lands title, and I'll help you skip that part of the quest.
  4. Yep, that's the right way to do it! It should have been fixed as it was linked to same problem.
  5. I feel your pain, but it is problematic to make a generic rule like that: there are some countries that consist primarily of small islands and boats are a common form of transport. Restricting quests to land would not only make it super easy to play from such islands (everything always spawns right next to you ), but would kill all the fun for the boat users. This is why the quests respawn every 7 days though!
  6. Hi! Thanks for the report, looks like your account was requesting quests in a language we don't support yet. 🤔 Should be resolved now, please let me know if the quest log still doesn't open or the quests don't get picked up!
  7. Thank you for the report and my apologies for the issue! Please try scrapping again and let me know if the reward messages still don't appear. I'm really sorry to hear about the current situation in your country, but the only thing I can recommend at this point is to ignore the new tutorial until you regain the ability to travel. That tutorial quest does not occupy a quest slot, so you should still be able to take at least 2 other new quests that do not require to travel that far (and if they do you can simple abandon them and take some others ). There is the ability to capture remote lands using Exploration Drones and upgrade these to level 5 (this would also satisfy the tutorial requirements), but this option is only available if you have some Unobtainium in your possession. In any case, I apologize for the inconvenience caused, this global pandemic has sabotaged all travel-related industries and our game too. But at the moment we are hopeful and do not plan to change the core game mechanics with a focus on playing exclusively from home; I do believe that the virus will be defeated eventually and we will all get to explore our planet once again.
  8. Hi all, There's been an update that I haven't announced yet: last month we released an addition to the anti-cheat, which is smarter and more reliable than ever. It's not based on any formulas, speed calculations or guessing whether you've suffered from a bad signal or not. The new anti-cheat layer can simply tell if your phone's operating system is running an app with a permission to modify GPS coordinates and will act appropriately if this app is active. As you can imagine, players who've never installed a Fake GPS app on their phone have absolutely nothing to worry about (regardless of how fast their mode of transportation is ), but everyone else will get caught. There's no bypassing it and there are no grey areas: if you are flagged by this new system then you have most certainly attempted to cheat, I will not accept any excuses related to bad signal, phone being in the microwave or you playing while driving, because none of that matters (or is true). Accordingly, I would like to remind everyone that falsifying your GPS coordinates is still considered illegal and as of the 16th of April 2020 there are automated punishment processes in place. So if you get a Fake GPS warning do not try to push your luck further. Any incidents are permanently logged in our database and the repeated attempts to cheat will automatically remove your account from all leaderboards, then apply a permanent ban. Since the introduction of a new system the following players were caught cheating (or trying to cheat). Remember, all anti-cheat actions are automated and require no manual intervention from my end, so every cheater will get what they deserve, no exceptions. Please post if you have any questions!
  9. As stated in the original post, every single aspect of the AI's behaviour is randomly regenerated every 24 hours. There will be days when it does absolutely nothing and there will be days when it keeps hammering you like there's no tomorrow. So if it provided you with a "day off" and let you destroy all of its launchers I would enjoy the moment! I'd also like to mention that there are 175 different behaviours active around the globe as we speak, so I am not keeping track of what the AI is doing in a particular region and cannot provide any insight into what your local base is likely to do next, sorry!
  10. Awesome, glad you've been able to progress! There are some quests that require completing the objective via specific means (e.g. using a drone or the flag capture), but this requirement will be displayed as an additional icon next to the progress counter. All tutorial steps are fairly generic though.
  11. Both, but App Store was lagging behind a bit. Should be available now though, please check! What do you mean "no way"? What about the only way - completing the objective? As stated in the announcement above, there are no shortcuts: This applies to bases as well. It doesn't matter if you have 50 bases already, if the quests asks you to establish a new base you have to establish a new base. Ignore the text (as it's aimed at the newly created accounts that can deploy the base with a single capture) and simply plant a new base the same way you did with all of your other bases: by travelling beyond the existing base's radius and upgrading a new land to level 5. Please don't do that as it won't help at all! The quest is asking you to add one more base to your collection. It won't be satisfied if you move an existing base or just capture a new land. You have to establish a new base somewhere else. When in doubt, look at the icons and numbers in the "Requirements" bar: that's what you need to do! If there's an icon of a flag - you need to capture a land. If there's an an icon of a base - you need to establish a new base. Simple!

    Undo option?

There is an undo option: you are using it (I'm talking about posting on the forum)! Unfortunately, having an automated undo is going to be prone to abuse especially now when things like land upgrades could be part of a quest. However, I am always happy to manually cancel any mistake. Can you please PM me your display name and/or lands title, as well as the username? I'll need that to locate you in the database.
  13. How bizarre! Could be the cache; can you please try manually clearing the app's data from the settings? This is how the filters are supposed to look like:
  14. Hi all, An exciting release has landed onto the Play Store and will appear on the App Store shortly: we are saying goodbye to our old "Goals" page and hello to the brand new "Quests" tab! That's right, starting from version 2.3.0 "Domination: Earth" features a system of quests and a new tutorial process based on these. Here's a brief summary of what you need to know about quests: Each "Quest" consists of one or more requirements and rewards. Requirements can include almost anything: from resource and item collection to attacking the AI and establishing new bases. After registering a new account your quest log will contain two quests: start of the tutorial chain ("Establishing First Base") and one regular quest. Existing accounts / veteran players who've completed the legacy tutorial will be prompted to complete the new tutorial after performing one of the basic actions (capturing new land, upgrading a building etc.), so don't worry, no one's going to miss out on rewards. Your Quest Log allows to store 3 concurrently active quests (unless expanded using Unobtainium), but all tutorial quests are "free" and will not occupy a quest slot. Completing / abandoning a quest will free up a slot to start a new quest accordingly. Please note that the "One quest to rule them all" is not part of the tutorial chain and does occupy a quest slot until completed. Quest progress is recorded after the quest is started. So if a quest asks to collect 50 Supplies and you already have 1,000 in your possession you're still going to have to get out and collect 50 more to complete the quest. New quests appear all around the world just like resources, but unlike resources they cannot be collected via drones, land captures or items. Each quest has to be collected manually from no further than 100m by using the small "hand" button on its marker tooltip. There are roughly 3 quests available per 15x15km area at all times, so the 3 quests you see around you are the quests you'll have to collect (their number will not change). However, quests reset every 7 days, so if the current set is completely inaccessible they will reappear elsewhere eventually. Most quest contents are procedurally generated and non-tutorial quests can be repeated more than once, so you may encounter the same quest again, but its objectives and rewards are likely to differ every time. Additionally, the same quest may appear as time-based (and can be failed) or infinite depending on your luck. If you fail a time-based quest its timer can be restarted using Unobtainium. The current quest progress will not reset and you'll be able to continue completing the quest from where you left off. Completion of the basic tutorial and a couple of other quests offer Unobtainium in reward. A new "Quests" map filter is now available on Earth View allowing to show/hide quest locations. Additionally, the following non-quest adjustments were made: As many countries around the world are lifting the COVID-19 related restrictions we've lowered the chance to obtain Exploration Drones from scrapping, so you will see a lot fewer of them from now on. However, an occasional quest may offer Exploration Drones as rewards now. Added new icons for items, regional leaderboards and travel points. Each land and base now has a "Manage" button in their context menus on Earth View allowing easier access to the building list. "Scrap Items" can now be accessed via a button on Earth View that has replaced the old "Goals" button. Maximum level of all Perks has been increased. As always, please post if you have any questions or feedback!
  15. Afternoon, everyone! As some of you noticed, something's changed in the game and the AI may have started to act a bit... different. Don't panic, it's not the machine uprising and all changes are intended. A fairly big feature release is planned for the near future; we hope to do it by the end of the week, maybe sooner, but not going to make any promises yet. I'll also refrain from spoilers, but will address a couple of concerns: Yes, the Peacekeeping Point calculation has been adjusted. Slaying of terrorist soldiers is no longer the primary source of points and instead of getting a point per kill you will now receive only 1 point per 20 terrorists slain (i.e. 5 per 100 soldiers) with a maximum of 10 points per battle. This is a significant change indeed, cause by the fact that we are about to introduce a new (much more efficient) way to acquire these points. Stay tuned for version 2.3.0; separate announcement to follow. AI has become smarter, more dangerous and more "alive" indeed. All attributes of its behaviour are now dynamic: they vary per AI base and get regenerated every 24 hours. Some bases will focus on building a massive army as quickly as possible, some AI bases will rapidly capture new lands, some of them will stay dormant and do absolutely nothing and everything will change every day. So if you're suddenly experiencing and influx of terrorist soldiers just remember: your mission is to survive for 24 hours. Additionally, AIs growth will now vary depending on the number of stronger players nearby. I.e. its army will be bigger next to a bunch of veterans and remain smaller in the area populated with new players. However, none of the numbers / growth values and other parameters are scripted, so almost anything can happen. As always, please post if you have any questions or feedback!
  16. No problem at all, all feedback is always welcome! Ai lands cannot be captured, only destroyed, and the Ai will continue building new lands & structures even after your victory. But the Ai will stop all activity for 7 days if you find and destroy their base. Any other lands and structures will not automatically disappear though, they still need to be destroyed individually.
  17. I think you misunderstood my suggestion; we do not suffer from the shortage of ideas (I have 3 Trello boards filled with tickets and 6+ pages of ideas on the forum from Grizzlyfilms alone ), my task list is several lifetimes long! But unfortunately, most of my day is preoccupied with my primary full-time job, so I have very little time left in the evenings and/or weekends to work on the game, which is why I have to pick what I work on very carefully. So I keep asking for everyone's suggestions to see if a specific idea keeps popping up more than the others, this way I prioritize development and push more "popular" features to be done faster than any others. However, rest assured that there will be many more updates in the future; the current state of the game is far from final! In fact, some of the things you mentioned are already being developed!
  18. Hmm... Your username or email do not exist in our database. I think you have landed onto the forum of a wrong game, as ours does not contain anything that resembles medieval or Romans, sorry! "Domination: Earth" is a geolocation-based travel game. To delete your account from any other game you would have to contact their support, as I have no influence there!
  19. We do have lots of powerful opponents all over the world, so I'd keep your defences and armies on standby in case someone does stumble upon your lands. However, the world is big and even if all of our 100,000 registered players went online at the same time chances are that few of them will actually end up next to you (there isn't much I can do about that, unfortunately! ). We do plan to release more Ai-based features and make these encounters more challenging indeed, but in the meantime I can only advice exploring more of the world (to have bases in other cities) or invite some of your friends into the game, this way there will always be someone around. But any ideas and suggestions are more than welcome!
  20. Hi! No problem, I'd be happy to help. I can delete your account, just let me know your lands title and/or display name so that I could find it in the database!
  21. Something froze on the server, sorry guys. How about now?
  22. Affirmative. Only lands initially created by drones become outposts, no changes here!
  23. Hi all, Version 2.2.3 is going to appear on the Play Store and App Store soon featuring a few minor fixes and adjustments: Fixed "lack of camera stickiness" during interaction with remote lands: loading surroundings around a remote land and opening any window on top (e.g. construction) will no longer reset the remote surroundings. Added "Cache land data on device" profile setting allowing to disable "My Lands" cache if it causes issues on your device. Disabling the cache will trigger each visit to "My Lands" to reload the associated data from the server. Please note that disabling the local cache will also disable the persistent Map Filters. "Collect Resources" button will now disappear upon press to prevent "button spamming" and the associated freezes. Selected language is now stored on the server, so reinstalling the game on another phone will choose the right language upon login. Please post if you have any questions!
  24. Hi all, Version 2.2.2 is now available on the Play Store and App Store. Featuring: Military Outposts no longer award points in the "Unique Bases" leaderboard (the board will refresh within 24 hours). It is now possible to convert Military Outposts to normal bases by visiting them in person and using the "Convert to Base" context menu option. 100km base radius circles for Military Outposts are now a little bit more "faded" and more transparent in comparison to the regular base circles. Added the missing player tracking button onto the individual lands of level 2+. Fixed an issue with the "My Lands" base cache not resetting upon logout. "Merge Lands" action window now displays the number of levels available to be received by merging the surrounding lands (none if there are no mergeable adjacent lands). As always, please post if you have any questions.
  25. That does sound like an unplanned side-effect, sorry! Will look into it.
