  1. Hmm... I see what you mean!
It would be great to make this location clearer indeed, but at the same time turning all buildings into "markers" would somewhat damage the atmosphere. :)

Let me think about this; perhaps I can find some sort of a compromise! :)

  2. Not yet, sorry! :)
As mentioned in the other thread, there are some issues with introducing official in-game communication means between players who don't know each other in real life, but we're perfectly happy for players to setup their own channels for alliances & groups!

2.I want to message players near my land that I don't know... Is there any way to send them a message?

    Ruvox is correct!
Due to the fact that "Domination: Earth" takes place in real world and you can actually see where other players are located we are trying to keep things impersonal and avoid in-game quarrels as much as possible.
It's hard to be offended by other players playing in the area (competition is competition, after all! :)), but imagine the addition of verbal abuse, "trolling" and deliberate provocation; the atmosphere would shift in a fairly dangerous direction!
We don't want to be responsible for anyone's smashed windows. :)

However, a very good idea has been suggested recently to introduce a "chat-less" communication channel (by using the pre-built commands & phrases); I am positive that something like that will appear in the future. ;)

Can we(the player) delete unwanted land ourselves?

Not in the current system, unless someone else attacks you. :)
There's just no benefit from doing that, as it's like saying "can I lose some experience points?" in a Role-Playing Game or "how do I get rid of unwanted ammunition?" in a First Person Shooter. :)

Is it just the aesthetical aspect that's bothering you or is that land preventing you from doing something?

  5. Hi!

    1. May I ask how you've determined the distance until your enemy?
Did you attack lands or bases?

    2. That's correct: in the current system PvP is there to remove enemy lands blocking your progress (e.g. to take over a resource station) or to become the country's leader.
Adding resource-based rewards or similar incentives for destruction of lands on its own would make it really hard for new players to join: the game would revolve around the most powerful base attacking anything and everything around it just for the sake of it.

However, as mentioned in some other threads, we are working on a combat expansion that should make things a bit more fun and diverse. ;)
Keep an eye out for updates in the News forum!

  6. Thank you for the report!

Most crashes happen due to the phone running out of memory, which we're constantly optimising as Google Maps consumes quite a lot!
Would it be fair to say that the game crashes primarily on "Earth View" or has it happened when you've just launched the app and not scrolled the map around?

Samsung Galaxy J3 seems to have around 1.5 GB of Memory, while in the most dense areas after 20-30+ minutes of playing the game has been known to reach approx. 1 GB.
If you have other apps open this may very well contribute to the crash!

Once again, we are doing our best to find a more permanent solution to the problem, but until then I'd recommend closing any unwanted background apps while playing. :)

  7. By default you only see all of your own lands and enemy lands within a 5km radius around your current position and bases.
However, you can select any of your captured lands (by tapping on the green flag or a building), then tap again on the description tooltip and that will "re-focus" camera around that land, showing enemies & allies in a 5km radius around the selected object.

This is done to prevent the game from crashing, as displaying all of the existing lands and resources would consume 100% of memory available on any device. :)

  8. Hmm.. I see what you're saying! Renamed to "Available resources"; change will appear in the next release whenever that happens. ;)

I am planning to build a "leaderboard" type of page eventually; we may not have the data on total collected resources at the moment (as it's just too much information for our database :)), but something similar will definitely be there!

I really like that you can go out with your allies and capture land or collect resources together. But when it comes to semi permanent stations you have to decide who is gonna claim it. I would appreciate if it would be possible to claim them together (at the same time) or similar sharing like with the other resources. I think this coul  be more motivating for allied players to go outside and play together.

Makes sense, will have a think about this!

I would really like to have an alliance system where people could join alliances instead of making 1:1 relations. These alliances could have some kind of treasury where members could donate resources to build alliance structure which give all members bonuses like x%+ on resource collection, (very small) passive resource generation etc. Also wars and pacts between these alliances would be really nice.

I agree with you that we dont really need an ingame chat, but something like an auto generated log for alliances would be nice. This could include predefined "pings" like sharing specific locations to plan alliance actions and would offer some basic comm tools without the need to moderate it.

The "chat-less" communication channel is a great idea! That would solve lots of issues we'd face with a traditional chat box.
Will definitely add this to the list of things to contemplate! :)

In regard to the alliance concept as a whole: I can confirm that it is planned as a future expansion, but due to the size of this development it's not going to be released in the next few weeks+. But I will keep you posted about any developments in that area! ;)

    Hey all!

I was wondering if it is possible to see how many lands you own? Just a totaa in the main base perhaps?

    Ah, that's a very reasonable request. :)
There's a bit of functionality planned in the near future that includes land-specific enhancements: it will be possible to rename certain lands and generally have some more control over them. I'll make sure to include the captured statistics in that release as well!

Ok, thanks a lot, an idea can be sending on expedition members of the army (or another troop) to capture some land or take you resorces form your zone

I've been thinking about the first bit myself too; it's likely that something similar will be added to the game at some point! :)

In regard to remote resource collection: that's actually already in place! You can send a member of personnel to collect all resources that have appeared on your captured lands if you have a "Tracking Satellite" built on your base. ;)

  11. Hi all,

Version 1.8.3 is now available for download from the Play Store and App Store.

It features several UI fixes and stability enhancements, such as:

    • Notification tooltips (e.g. "There are no resources around to collect") should now be less intrusive, not cause action buttons to move and still allow scrolling Earth View while notifications are visible.

    • Captured lands located outside of the viewport (i.e. lands you can't see) will be unloaded from memory, causing the app to use less memory and leading to fewer crashes.

Additionally, this update is a prerequisite for a new building we're about to release: the "Warehouse", allowing to store items produced by the Assembly Plant if your inventory is full or if you're not around your base to pick these items up. It also works as a bank, allowing to deposit and withdraw items from your inventory at any time when you're visiting the base.

The Warehouse will be released after at least 60% of our players upgrade to 1.8.3 (to prevent any confusion; it will not work in versions older than that), so please make sure you get it! ;)

Hi, I'm in sicily, I have an army but there is no one to attack in 100km, I need to wait for new players?

    That's one option!

Alternatively, you can travel further than 100km yourself, establish new base and it will extend your attack radius. ;)
We'll also be adding more combat-related features in the future, so this area will be improved and more options added!

Any ideas are also welcome! :)

  13. I can delete that land for you, but it may not have the effect you expect! :)

Bases are upgraded when you capture new lands or upgrade the existing ones (each land upgrade counts as a point towards the nearest base's level).
However, when you check in on your base directly (within 100m from its centre) the base gets a temporary defence boost; it doesn't grow in the same way as lands.

If you'd still like me to delete your land though just let me know its current level and I will find it! ;)

  14. From the Army Controls window you can see a list of all enemies in 100km radius (by tapping on "Attack Lands" or "Attack Bases), but not on a map (that would most likely crash the app; there are too many lands and resources around the world :)).

However, after you capture a land you can tap on its flag, then tap on its description tooltip and this will display all enemies close to that land.

But again, I will have a think about how the UI can be adjusted in order to display lands & bases of the person attacking you. ;)
