If you don't have a warehouse you can't use the assembly plant if your not there to pick it up? Am I Derping this right? Assembly plant puts items in your inventory directly, but you have to be present on your base to receive them, so it doesn't work while you're out travelling. However, warehouse unlocks the ability to produce items remotely as they simply end up there and await for your collection upon return to your base.
