  1. Hey Dan, I know you already stated it a few times. But could you explain once again how exactly this works ? I am a little bit confused about it to be honest. When does players land get saved but vanishes from the map ? What happens if someone else captures land on that place but the original player returns into the game ? Do lands vanish forever at some point ? What are the conditions or periods of time resulting in what exactly ? (uninstalation, inactivity, whatever)

    Item Swiping

There are two views which might could get one little feature to make my life (and maybe the life of many other players) much more comfortable. The item/inventory view and the warehouse view. On both you have two sides inventory and active at the first and warehouse and inventory on the second. When you want to switch between both especially when you have for example 2 full warehouses (60 items) and are already down to the super magnets you had to scroll all the way up to switch to the inventory. If you have a full warehouse and 9/10 items in your inventory but want to load your inventory with ten super magnets you would do this ten times and you had to scroll far more for every additional warehouse you have. Switching between warehouse and inventory by swiping left or right would make everything much easier. This would also be nice for inventory and active items but its not that dramatic there because of the 10 items cap.
  3. The main idea of the game is, that you have to travel to do something thus you are only able to interact with the land in your surrounding area (the nearest land) and with the bases at all time. Additionally, after you'll have played the game for a few weeks, a tab showing all your lands would be very very full and confusing. To see all your captured land just zoom out in the earth view, you can even tab on your lands and see the surrounding area then (resources and lands from other players) from far away.
  4. Sorry for the late answer. With the first capture I definitly collected multiple resources. It was a huge range so there were many toast popping up.
  5. Yesterday I had a longer trip through half the city. I activated 8 Super magnets and 2 radio transmitter to collect as many resources as possible. However, after i captured the first time 3 of the 5 loads of my super magnets were used. I didn't press the collect button at this time I only recruited more soldiers and restartet the app and looked into the item/inventory information view. I could use the second (but the game thought fourth) load normally while capturing again. Then I went further with the bus I wanted to use the last load to collect as many of the resources possible but the hour of activation was nearly over. So I looked in the item/inventory information view until my first activated super magnet was at 20 seconds left and then nearly immediately went to the the earth view and captured again. I don't know why but I captured but my super magnets were completely gone without collecting any resources again. Even the big collection circle didn't show up. I do not know what happened there and of course it't possible that I totally f***ed everything up but to me it seemed that something didn't worked as it should.
  6. Ok, I see. Its updating right now
  7. Yesterday I leveled my base up to level 17 somehow this doesn't counted towards the new leaderboard.
  8. Many of the mentioned things sound very interesting. I especially like the idea of places visible for all like @The one true king mentioned. How about something expensive like a permanent resource station one could place on the map wherever he wants to and everyone would get a small amount of this resource when collecting in its range. This would be a thing which is definitively worth paying unobtanium for. All players could see and if they move to it profit from it. The one placing it could place it somewhere where he knows he and maybe his allies are often around. Maybe also add the possibility to defend and destroy it.
  9. Hey @marcofi nice to hear that you like the idea of domination. I think I play this game for about 2 months now and until now never encountered the feeling of a pay2win game. Please consider the unobtanium prices and what you would get for them. Those things you can buy (small amounts of resources, a permanent supply factory, missile launcher, nuclear silo) do all have its benefits but you could easily achive those benefits just by playing the game normally and just go outside a little more. Missile Launcher and Nuclear Silo - Both can heavily damage buildings but consider that you can also build defence really quick when travelling around and collecting some resources. Supply Factory - It delivers only 1 unit of supplies every hour (when you collect it) per upgrade level. You could easily go outside and collect one or two of those 36-heaps of supplies spawning everywhere when you are active (capture lands) Small amounts of resources - Same argument as above, it's ridiculous how easy it would be to collect the resources without unobtanium in even greater amounts without spending lots of money. Base Move - Consider that the first move is free and every player should think before placing its base somewhere and it cost only one unobtanium which is nice. Finally, unobtanium is more about supporting the developer and keep the servers running than "winning" the game. You could Indeed get nearly everything you want for huge amounts of money (for example you could not capture lands or level your base up) you had to be a billionaire to make it without actually playing the game. mho
  10. Ah, ok. Thank you very much. Somehow I got this wrong while reading it first time
  11. Needed to restart the app and give again the permission to connect with google play. But now everything seems to work after you do something concerning the score. But may I ask what exactly the richest land score means?
  12. Again I want to mention that many strange travel behaviors can be explained by bad GPS chips. One situation I know is that your are for example in the train and capturing at a trainstation, then 15 minutes later you start the app again to capture again and the GPS thinks you are still at the trainstation then you upgrade the trainstation and seconds after that your GPS "teleports" you to your current position. This can even happen with little longer periods of time. This might look like a when reviewing afterwards. I've encountered this quit often. I know you are aware of the problems with bad GPS and for sure would never ban someone without sufficient justification. I also appreciate your anti cheat mechanics not being displayed completely to the players. But again after previous decisions made by niantic for ingress (I know that you are not them and by far more communicative) I am sometimes very sensitive to everything concerning GPS.

    Trade Management

I am not sure if this is possible since I had my own offer but now I have "7/5 sent offers". I just made new offers and the system let me do it like it would be a normal out of the allowed five.

    Trade Management

I tried to purchase another players land but he didn't answered so I decided to take the land over with my army. The trade requests seem to be in generell connected to the specific lands and not to the players who the lands belong to (which is nice). But so I came into the situation to accept my own offer to buy the land which I at this point already owned. I further noticed that it is possible to have more than 5 trade offers pending at once. So I have situations with for example sent offers (6/5). Maybe there is something wrong?
  15. I already answered to @The one true king's post but this seems much more suspicious. Hope @Mr. D will take care of this. However I have two questions to you. First, why don't you defend your land with your own soldiers? Second, why is the white hand of your collect button shifted to the right?
  16. I do exactly the same when for example traveling by train, every now and then capture land and build directly a sandbagwall on it. I mean why not ? When you have a base in range you can defend it and in case of dropped resources on it you can collect them. Additionally, you can tap on the panel of you land and see whats going on in the range of (I think it was 10 km). So I don't see why you shouldn't do this. Maybe at some point his lands might block some other from building perfect lv100 lands which merge then easy, maybe he can sell them for much resources later. I don't see any negative points about this. Considering that some of his captured or conquered lands are in the middle of nature it might really something strange going on here. But please also think about that some people have a bad gps chip espeacially when moving fast with a train or maybe truck or whatever.
  17. You seem to confuse the words resources and items. It's right that depending on your warehouses level your are able to store 10 items per warehouse upgrade up to 30 items per warehouse of which you can have one per base. So more bases with additional warehouses means more item storage. However, you can always carry 10 items with you. Resources are gold, personnel, supplies and unobtanium, you can find the first three all around the map. You need them to build, upgrade or create things. Under "construction" you can see how many you have of which type at the moment. The limit of how many resources you can store is somehow limited by the base level (I am not sure what the exact values were).
  18. These are your captured lands. You can pick up resources remotely if spawned on your lands via the Tracking Sattelite. They are basically the land that belongs to you and its somehow the goal to have as much land as possible, your land. You can upgrade the nearest land which has to be less than 500 meters away from you via clicking the capture button every 15 minutes. Then the land will grow by 5 meters in radius and one level. You can build defence on this land to defend it against enemies and you need to build at least one building every 10 levels on it to upgrade it any further.
  19. May I guess you are from Germany (Because of the name you choosed)? There are many things you mentioned which you might understand better after a few days of playing. At first, the base has many important features. You build your Tracking Sattelite, Baracks, Assembly Plant and Warehouse there, thus the base is your important place to pruduce soldiers, produce items, store items, and collect resources remotely. Additionally, your bases level regulates how many soldiers and resources you can store. Secondly, you advance your range to collect resources by the use of items produced in the assembly plant or with a little chance scrapped from barcodes. So no need to enter someone elses backyard The way fights work at the moment might be a little bit confusing, but you have to consider that you could attack anyones land within the radius of 100km from your base. You only have to see this land (have land near to it, track the player or be near to it physically). In bigger cities you might encounter the need to attack enemy lands or defend your own earlier as you wish. Lastly, if you zoom out you will see binoculars popping up for every country showing the top player, how many lands and how many km²s he has captured and the same for the country in total.

    Alliance system

Great to hear that! Again I have to mention that it's wonderful how dynamic domination is and how it evolves with the community and that you seem to be omnipresent concerning all issues! Having that transparent flow of information and decisions is what every player wishes a game and its devs to be. Nice to have someone that motivated and enthusiastic like you developing such a great game! Thank you for that!

    Alliance system

I can not know what you have planned for long term. But at the moment it seems to as the alliance system needs some modifications. For example I told a friend about domination and he downloaded the game and wanted to start playing. but at the moment the surrounding area belongs more or less to me and without selling my land or losing the option to merge big lands it's impossible to him to start playing here and thus for me to show him the game. Especially for the starting phase it might be hard for new players to find the motivation to travel just to start playing at all. I think everyone is more motivated to play a game if he is able try it out without to much effort. Then later if they like the game the most people are for sure motivated to travel further. At the moment this is very complicated. It seems like the game is not really designed for alliances between friend who want to play together but more for strangers turning to enemies fighting each other. This is just mho and I do not really know what the best option might be. But I also think that the state of the art is not at its final point.

    Overlapping lands

I have to admit that I am not really sure how the thing with damaging land should work but I just encountered these enemy level one land build within my level one lands.
  23. Restart the app and go directly to scrap item afterwards. I've no idea why but sometimes the barcode scanner seems to be out of order after other usage of the app.
  24. Additionally, I just recognized that no matter of which level your sandbag wall is, the panel will always show up "defence score: 2"

    Shield

Although I really like the idea of some sort of shield for new players, there are some difficulties you should consider before. This would lead to a scenario where some players who leave and uninstall the game have their lands protected forever and nobody would be able to capture this land. Additionally, players who never attacked someone and are not willing to do so, might have build defence structures and mobilised big armies which would become totally obsolete for them. I think there should be at least one additional mechanism for the shield to stop other than just attacking someone. Maybe a timer with several days or even weeks, maybe a specific amount of captured land i combination with a timer, maybe you have to keep it active with daily logins or even something completely different. I think what I would like the most would be a shield that is active for new player as long as they keep it active by clicking a button under My Lands at least once a week. But the shield should be deactivated no later than a player collected a specific amount of resources in total since this is a way to make sure the player had the chance to build or mobilise enough for defense. This would at least solve the possible problems I mentioned. New player should be able to attack other players also earlier (with the shield activated) but then the attacked player (maybe also his allies) should get the chance for revenge
