  1. I experienced two times today that I attacked the Ai and then locked my phone in the Combat Progress View accessed by the tooltip button. 15 minutes later I got my "Land capture is ready" notification again so I unlocked my phone then opened the app by clicking on the notification and found myself back in the Combat Progress View but with the well known "No targets left. You are victorious!". I then tried to confirm the message but trying to confirm it just ended with the message reloading a felt one hundred times. Then I had to confirm them one by one which worked fine. I had still messages to confirm as I already could sea the Earth view again.
    This happened both times.

This is not really problematic and requires a restart of the app or a bunch of clicking. Nevertheless, it seems like a little bug is hiding there ;)

  2. That's nice but I'm used to the OSM style now so will stick to this one :D But having a choice is always a great thing!

Hope you are not promising too much to our Apple using fellows...xD

I've had to pause development of a custom "Domination: Earth" OSM style, as it's starting to take longer than anticipated

I'm sure you will get this sooner or later since this would mean you could just fix, optimize or add thing much faster and easier as we know it from you. But indeed there is so much exciting  other stuff to do at the moment and what would be a day without any update or fix on Domination xD

apart from the points listed the GPS is also used to find the nearest land displayed at the top of "My Lands" list. :)

Ahh, I totally forgot about that one... To be honest this point was mainly because of this annoying feeling you get when the "Resources collection is available" notification pops up and you open the app and wait ... and wait ... and wait ... without being able to collect resources just because your old Nexus 5X GPS is tired.

I totally see the importance of having your main bases in spots you frequently visit most likely at home since they allow you to restock on items, spawn resources regardless of all circumstances and to defend them if needed. My Warehouse base related points were less about the need to be present on a base but more about the presence at a specific base.
If I had three bases A,B and C and all of them had Warehouses and I stand in the range of Base C but click on the Warehouse button at base A I am not allowed to deposit or withdraw any items. But if I clicked on the Warehouse button of Base C I would be allowed to do so. Since the Warehouses are connected in both situations I could see the same items and in both cases I would stand in the range of one of my Warehouses/bases. I just don't see why making a difference there. But I totally agree that it should be always required to be physically at one of your bases wit a Warehouse to actually deposit or withdraw items.

The second point was just that I would like to have items produced prior into a Warehouse if you have one and there is space. It's sometimes a little bit confusing when you are at your base and the items get produced into your inventory but you are searching for them automatically in the Warehouse.

In any case, I appreciate the suggestions regarding the UI and button shortcuts; I will see what can be done about these! ;)

Thank you very much for this one !

  4. At the moment I have six bases and @SebRut and me started to think about a little bit about the My Lands tab growing and growing with any new base you establish.

First, I recognized that you have some sort of hierarchical order when loading the game. If I have a perfectly fine mobile data connection and the game itself would work great but the GPS takes it's time again (sometime in a train this will take a really long time) I'm stuck with the "Retrieving GPS coordinates..." message. Yes, Domination is a GPS based game and it makes sense to don't allow using it without any location data. But I don't see the need of a location when accessing the My Lands tab. For example in this case I could not restock my army in a case of war, I could not collect the hourly resources, I could not use the Tracking Satellite and so on... The only things really needing a location concerning the My Lands tab is if I try to deposit or withdraw items from the warehouse or produce at the Assembly Plant resulting in stocking up my inventory if I am in the base range (never really understood this one though) and the sharing of the resources collected by the Tracking Satellite.
It would be nice (maybe also battery saving) if I could do anything in the My Lands without a location but as soon as I try to do something which really needs it for example withdrawing an item resulting in the already known "Retrieving GPS coordinates..." message.

Secondly, we thought about the mess if you do things you usually want to do with any bases but you have to do them with each base for its own. It would be nice having buttons doing this for all bases with just one click:

    1. Producing items. I usually want to use all my Assembly Plants to produce items not just two of them or something like that. At the moment I have to go into every base then click on Produce Items then confirm this and move to the next base.
    2. Warehouse. I don't understand why there is a Warehouse button for each base since the Warehouses are connected to each other it doesn't really matter on which Warehouse button I clicked. For withdrawing or depositing it might be necessary to know that I'm within a bases radius with a Warehouse built but it shouldn't (at the moment it does) matter on which of those bases I'm at.
    3. Restocking my army. I tend to have all my armies at the maximum. I also tend to build barracks on every base. It would be nice to restock at least the armies of all bases with barracks built with one click.
    4. Using the Tracking Satellite. For sure in the most cases you know that there are resources on this specific land and so you are using the Tracking Satellite of this base. But to be honest who would mind using all Tracking Satellites at once with just one click.
    5. Upgrading buildings. It makes totally sense to be able to upgrade different buildings at different bases separately but I don't really see the point of the upgrade button of the optionally before it was a base built Sandbag Walls. I mean I am not able to upgrade them afterwards so this button is just there for the sake of its existence.

I see all this might in general affect high level players and players who travel often so I think nobody would mind if you would introduce a new building like a base-central giving those abilities but also costing some resources. This would maybe prevent everyone from doing it right when he starts since I can understand that all those points would result in a all in all higher server usage.

  5. There is indeed one option to have at least the 6x size of your inventory limit. If you have a full inventory and then send an offer with the full amount to an ally or an inactive player you can start to collect again. you could do this with all your five possible others and then collect again. If you then withdraw your five offers you would have 6 times the amount of your actual inventory limit.
But there is no advantage on this behavior since you had to really collect all of the resources and after withdrawn your offers wouldn't be able to collect any further Money. The only strange effect there is is to somehow cheat on the leaderboard.
It's also possible to yous collect your hourly resources for an endless time even if your inventory limit is full since they would be added to your inventory anyway. In this way you could stack money for an infinite time regardless of your inventory limit but it would need a very long time to have such a hard effect with this one (For example I can collect 320 Money per hour at the moment). But also with this one I see no advantage besides the leaderboard and it would literally paralyze all of your other Money related ingame activities for this time.

  6. Hopefully you'll find a good solution for this.

I'd be totally fine with trading a little bit of the current performance off if this makes map services somehow more affordable for you.

However, just wanted to mention that I prefer the current night mode of the map over the standard version.

  7. To be honest, if you have one or more active allies those resources received messages could get a little bit out of hand very fast.

Additionally, it features a bunch of GPS enhancements that should make it a bit more "responsive" and reduce the number of cases where an out-of-date set of coordinates is considered your current position.

I know I always come with the same things but let's say I am driving by train through Germany on some spots there is no or nearly no mobile data and at least with my device always weak GPS in a train. Before the update it sometimes happened that my GPS just placed me a few kilometers away from the railroads and let me stay there for an uncomfortable amount of time. What would happen now in such a scenario ? I beg you to don't do it the way some other AR-games ***cough***niantic***cough*** are doing it resulting in a bad GPS signal message for the whole ride and no ability to do anything on the way...

  8. This is all definitely none of my business so feel free to just ignore the following command.

It seems to me as you two are about to start some sort of "total war" on each other, you both want to fight the other one down, you both don't hesitate to use lots of nukes. I only see four ways how this could end:

    1. You both fighting each other until the point where at least one of you has lost too much money or is just tired of fighting any further and leaves the game.
    2. At one point one of you both might surrender and accept a peace under the winners conditions.
    3. You just find a solution for your problem and coexist peacefully in the future.
    4. Since 1 and 2 may cost you loads of money and option 3 seems to don't be considered of one of you I see a fourth little more creative option. Both of you would be "allowed" to nuke the other one until everything is broken. At this point you could sign some sort of anti-nuclear-weapon-treaty and proceed to fight each other but only with conventional weapons and rebuild everything. In this way you could fight each other and had more or less equal chances which don't depend on your money but more on ingame effort. And Mr. D would also get a little support which would be great without one of you loosing too much money.

Seems I like lists today :D

Again it's none of my business and just some sort of idea independent of all other circumstances.

  9. I think the price depends on very much circumstances.

    • What level is the land ? Is it 3+ (Guard Tower constructable) or maybe even 100+ ?
    • Is it within the reach to attack you or another player with a Guard Tower and or Missile Launcher ?
    • Are there many players in that region ?
    • How remote is the location of the land ? Can you or another player get easily back there ?
    • Is its radius touching another players radius ? Such a land can have a high value for different players for several reasons.
    • Of what level state of accumulated resources is the seller or the customer ?
    • Are there any strange alliance circumstances ?
    • Are there buildings already constructed on this land ?
    • Is it touching your own land so could you merge it afterwards ?
    • Does on of the players threatens the other one ?

I've paid prices from about 5 Supplies up to 500 Supplies at the moment to be honest so this is a very very complex thing which very much depends on the player.

But as always statistics are a very nice thing ;)

  10. I think it's a very important issue you mention there. I will just leave mho here as a high level player. I will stick to a more general explanation/thoughts since this might not be only your problem but a more common issue.

First, I have to admit that it can be very very hard to start playing when you have a big player in your "neighborhood". Having the baselevel 10 PvP cap was a nice step in the right direction.

There are a few reasons I thought about why a high level player might attack you:

    1. He more or less controls the area which took him much time of hard work at this point likely more effort than you put into the game. He might be afraid of you gaining to much power which would result in him losing control or you getting control over him.
    2. As a high level player you can make "aggressive negotiations" which means more or less he want's you to sell him or tribute him one of your lands which you might not want to give so he tries to take it by force.
    3. You might have attacked an ally of him. Some of us take alliances especially to keep peace very serious.
    4. Some of your lands might stand in the way of him and stopped his growth but he doesn't want a alliance for some reason.
    5. Maybe he really just likes to conquer lands for fun.

More diplomatic options might be very helpful in some of this cases. However, there are a few things I would suggest to you:

    1. Think about what you might loose. If he just wants one small land of yours it might be better to let him take it (let him buy it or switch "defend surrounding lands" off for a very short period). This land won't really hurt you much but might save you from many casualties.
    2. Only take revenge when you really think you have a chance since it will make your base visible (which  might lead to even more damage on your side). Especially if he captured land from you consider to attack this since it is harder to defend a small level 1 land and takes some time to build defence leading to more casualties on his side.
    3. Try to contact him. Maybe you'll find him in the forum or the discord and can talk to him about some kind of a peace treaty.
    4. Try to find allies! This one is very important if you want to make sure to grow secure and peacefully but also when you are under attack of a "bully". There might be other players in your area who are also under attack by him or are at least afraid of attacks and want to fight with you together for peace or even to conquer some of his lands. There are some tactics how allies can really harm one lonely big player.
    5. If nothing helps, don't attack back this makes your base visible but instead of build and repair as many defence as you can and of course recruit more and more soldiers. Go out, take your Super Magnets and collect resources. If he proceeds to attack you he will loose many soldiers for every singe casualty on your side. This might result in him getting out of resources or at least getting tired of loosing so many resources and soldiers for nothing. Also think about which perks might make the most sense in your situation, ;) fortification can be a mighty force.

Of course some changes towards those fighting mechanics would me very nice and I am sure @Mr. D will do his best to adjust everything towards a state where everyone can have equally fun as he always does. But let's admit that it wouldn't be fair to take away all of the force of the big players since the most of them are not aggressive and have worked very hard to become the leaders/players in charge for their country or region. But loosing nearly all of your progress in the game is not funny at all.

Lastly I want to mention that I was not the nicest or most peaceful player myself in the past but some updates let me focus my gaming more towards traveling, establish new bases and keeping a peaceful relationship to my neighbors. Seeing players leaving the game isn't fun for anyone. Fighting is now more about the Ai and to defend my allies if necessary. But that doesn't mean that I would never tend to "aggressive negotiations" again if some land of another player really bothers me or somehow threatens me.

  11. Ok, then you misunderstood me.
This is a level 1 land. Mr. D meant a glitch with upgrading a specific building within a level 100+ land. But my land is only level 1 so it should only be allowed to construct 1 sandbag wall on it but there are three of them and the additional two seem to also count towards the defence point.
So I am sure this is a totally different bug/problem.
I further mentioned that at anytime the first Sandbag Wall gets upgraded not a random one of the three.

  12. Why is there a trade request limit of 5 pending requests at a time ?
I can understand that pending offers might somehow "spam" your server... But to be honest the more bases you have the higher the chance is to meet different players at different places with whom you might want to trade simultaneously. 5 is a very little number for this especially if you consider that some players tend to don't answer a pending offer for a long time.

    1. Why is there a limit ?
    2. Can you make the limit higher or dynamically depending on the owned bases ?
    3. Can you implement messages that remind players about still pending offers after a specific time ?
    4. What happens with still pending offers sent to a now PvP-disabled player (Sent before the update) ?

Could you please let me know the name & level of your land or the exact list of resource-related buildings & resource stations associated with it?
I'll reproduce the same setup on one of my lands and run some tests.

I have the exact same problem. The hourly "collect resources"  only gives me 1 Supply every time I use it although I have 5 bases and all together 6 Supply factories, 23 Oil rigs and 35 Personnel Recruitment Beacons.
