Resource station timer

If I remember correctly, resource stations should stay for 7 days (168 hours). But it seems like the timer is only able to display 99:99:99 at maximum therefore some players get the feeling of a resetting timer since it counts down from whatever to 00:00:00 and then from 99:99:99 to 00:00:00 because it cant display more. 
It is a little bit guessing but I've noticed this "resetting" for a few times now.
Is this on purpose ? Are you @Mr. D aware of that ? Or is there really something like a magic reset function resetting the timer at random ?

There isn't a reset as such, but you are correct: looks like the time format gets limited to 2 digits!
I'll look into it.
