    GPS drift

I was visiting my family yesterday and encountered a strange GPS drift. During my visit I mostly just took my phone out about every 15 minutes to hit the capture button. My GPS placed my for an unknown reason up to 10 km away from my current location but not less than 3 km. All those drifts happened in a straight line in this range as you can see perfectly in the picture down below. I know that you can probably don't change anything about my bad GPS chip. But I was very confused since something like that happened to me for the first time. Finally, I wanted to say thank you for the perfectly working anti cheat which did not punish me for my bad GPS chip
  2. I have often noticed level 1 lands of the same player do not always have the same color. Sometimes they appear to be lighter. I have attached to examples. The left and the right side are each level one lands of the same player. Is there any reason why this happens? Are those each time 2 level 1 lands exactly on the same place?
  3. Maybe I got something wrong there but isn't it necessary to terminate an alliance before being able to start a war with the other one?
  4. In my case he proceeds on the tracking list and I can still hit the track button but his lands just won't get displayed
  5. I am not able to see a player I had a war with via manually tracking so I open this new topic as proposed by you. The player is definitely active within the last 7 days but I can't see him via tracking.
  6. Everything works now, thank you very much
  7. That's an unfortunate situation I would say.
  8. I'm nearly sure you would loose the building and its level would go to your base as points. But why don't you just build a land on the other side of your missle launcher land, to merge it with the missile launcher land and repeat this till your missile launcher land is big enough to be savely merged with the at the moment bigger land?
  9. The point is that after being consequent when being attacked the least players would ever accept or offer a truce... Not even once. After a war trade and PvP are bove no longer possible which is I think the main point I dislike about the current mechanics.
  10. Sorry that I don't make up another thread for this but I see it a little bit as a collection of ideas and impressions by now. I always try to solve things peacefully but being very consequent on the other side if being attacked by another player. But sometimes people think it is a good idea to attack me which they (I hope so) immediately regret. I like to trade and keep other players within the game supporting them with resources and accumulating lands in a peaceful way. If I was under attack during the "old" war system, I could put the attacker back in his place but later on make him new fair offers for some of his lands to show that I like to proceed things peacefully. This worked well. Sometimes it was necessary to let a little grass grow over the matter (hope this idiom does also exist in English) but afterwards the most players liked to proceed in a peaceful coexistence. If I am under attack since the "new" war system, I would for sure be consequent as before but this will result in the attacking player just waiting the seven days and then stay away from me for the rest of eternity. Then I will be very sad not seeing another active player in my range and having no option to gain lands from him peacefully and support him with resources. So what do I do? I tend to conquer more lands of the attacker since I am afraid of never having the chance again to gain them in any way. I also make fair offers during this time resulting in the other player to have to choose between me just conquering his land or trading it to me for a fair price. I also don't attack larger lands and usually stick to level 1 lands to not take away to much of motivation from the attacker. But at the end of the day I see the "new" war system has made me more aggressive and took me some chances to trade and have a peaceful coexistence after a war. Maybe not everyone will understand my point but it's really hard for me to handle such situations now. Lastly, I still think the "new" war system is better than the "old" one considering that it protects player who start in well populated areas or are "bullied" in any way.
  11. Since you have already revived this thread ... Why is there the "you can onl have one conversation"-mail system restriction ?
  12. Poor GPS is always a frustrating thing. I could tell you about a bunch of stories where I just hated my GPS... However, as soon as I know Mr. D and the rules of the game, I am sure this should not affect you in any additional negative way. For sure you can keep this lands, otherwise yo had captured lands just where you were which you would then be missing. If anybody who faces GPS issues would want his lands removed we would get a big list of to be deleted lands. The important thing is that you never faked your location intentionally. You have no control about where the bad GPS places you. You are just playing the game as honest as you can and capture lands where your location services say you would be which can only be influenced by you moving somewhere in real world or improve your GPS chip. As I had several strange situations myself (I once had a ferry trip and after I returned my GPS recognized it but then placed me back to my origin (about 50 km away) and placed me back again to my current position) and Mr. D has stated more than one time that he constructed an amazing anti-cheat which is able to identify the difference between "bad GPS behavior" and spoofing I am sure you are not recognized by the anti-cheat in any way. You would have immediately got a message in that case.
  13. It happned again. Seems like the "check if close enough to upgrade an existing land instead of capturing a new one"-mechanism does not recognize lands with a distance of exact 0 meters to the current position allowing to capture theoretically infinitive lands within each other, the same goes for merging. This "still standing at the same position" sometimes apperas when the gps didn't refreshed fast enough.
  14. Seems like I face the same issue right now 😅
  15. To be precisely this is not right. The bases range don't have to overlap since it is possible to buy "lonely" lands outside of the sellers base range only the buying person has to have a base in range.
  16. I've mentioned this unusable upgrade button some time before. However, what would be the alternative to a level 4 land with buildings on it upgrading to a base with the same buildings? You could either ignore the sandbagwall or give base points for it just like when merging. But the current situation also has its sense since you have to build a sandbagwall on a defenceless land and the longer you wait defenceless up to 50 minutes for a level 10 sandbagwall you will get rewarded with a little more basedefence which can never be wrong,
  17. I noticed that the timer which appears when withdrawing a land buy offer is sometimes very strange. It should just count down one hour. But when the timer end it seems to just start new with 24 hours sometimes (This is only a pure "design" issue as I am definitely able to make a new offer as soon as the one hour is over). Additionally, the second don't seem to be counted from 60 to 0 but from 99 to 0.
  18. Well at least it should be possible to track the enemy player after a war: However, I am not able to track the one I had a war with so I'm not sure about this.
  19. I think that might happen because resources and resources stations have different filter options. So when having only resources disabled, resources stations will still be displayed and they also crowd up to the resources collection icons when zooming out.
  20. Simply great! I think the problem there was more about the "Item not found! Please try again." message which pops up a little bit to often if you want to delete or transfer an item to fast.
  21. I see that this is a difficult topic. To keep honesty I have to mention beforehand that I am definitely biased having 9 bases established and the second most standing soldiers in the world. There are two major point why I wouldn't like such timers in the game: Have you ever tried to establish a new base being immediately attacked by the Force of Terror when your land just hit level 2 or three? This is very uncomfortable since you can see how many troops are incoming not before you have you land at level 5 (established a new base). At that point you can immediately transfer troops to save you, with a timer you couldn't or had to wait too long. Otherwise you could to build barracks first which takes another 30 minutes. Having then another timer for recruiting troops would again expand the time till being able to defend yourself. Belief me having to defend your fresh build(ing) base without any troops for an hour or even longer is no fun at all. So timer on both recruiting or transferring would make it more dangerous to establish new bases which is imho the wrong way. When you have established a few bases you will have sure some with just 100 soldiers because of the base just being at level 1. If this is a place you might not be able to travel to (soon) again you might want really hard to keep the lands there. But having to defend the surrounding lands with only 100 soldiers is already complicated but having to wait to transfer soldiers to this base or recruit new ones there would make it even harder to keep on defending during an attack. Additionally, having a big armee but being unable to defend properly can be very frustrating. So implementing timers would also go to the cost of players who like to travel around and establish new bases somewhere else which would be again imho the wrong way. But lastly I have to admit that there are sure ways to implement timers in a special way but still caring for my mentioned points but this could be a little complicated.
  22. You capture lands using the yellow flag button on the lower left of the Earth View. You can do this once every 15 minutes and it will usually claim a new piece of land for you or will upgrade an existing one. For further explanations a look here might help.

    Alliances

Having an alliance with someone means that you both can let you lands overlap without any problems. You can capture new lands as if the other one wouldn't exist. The lands of your allies will be marked with a blue flag instead of a red or grey one. It is not possible to merge your lands with allied lands. Resources sharing works whenever your ally was online within the last hour within 500 meters (if I remember this correctly) the collected resources will then be splitted and always rounded up. So if you were three people and one of you is collecting one Personnel everyone would get one.

    Fighting together

But if you buy a house with debts on you know about all the facts including the debts before. When buying a land you just send an offer. The current owner might as well wait weeks until he gets into a war and this land gets attacked and sell it then. Additionally, dealing with the incoming troops is one thing but shifting the war with the already low timer towards the buying person and starting a new 14 days long war for the seller is a different issue.

    Fighting together

Hey..... uhmmmm.... well..... looks like I messed everything up again I had an open trade request to Sasha Pasha who is in a war with Олег Поленин. Олег Поленин attacked exactly that land of Sasha Pasha. Sasha Pasha sold me the land with the war still ongoing. I was not in a war with Олег Поленин. This time it did not only resultet in an unwanted fight but in an additional issue. It somehow shifted the war from Sasha Pasha and Олег Поленин to me and Олег Поленин keeping the timer but getting a fresh points counter. This also started a new war between Sasha Pasha and Олег Поленин which got a new timer of now 14 days but keeping the point counter.
